“We really enjoyed our visit here. It was not very crowded as we visited in the afternoon. Huge spot with lots of different sections to it. We sat outside by the play area, which makes this place great for kids, and we had most of the outdoor spot there to ourselves. Good selection of their own beers + plenty of guest taps. Solid to good beers here. Good food. Huge, with plenty of space.“

“This is a regional gem inside a really down on its luck but emerging little tourist trap between savannah and hilton head island. 30 drafts, samples and crowlers to go of all of them, lots of big-name brands and breweries, they brew their own beer which was at times world-class. They also serve homemade ice cream which was a bit heavy on the fattiness ( I just tried a sample). They have multiple biergartens and the service was impeccable; this place is a must visit if in the Savannah or Hilton head area.“

“A really nice place with a lot of room, but it was pretty slow for a Saturday night. Not that I minded, but I hope for their sake that they have much busier nights. The Saison I had was good not great, and I wish I had more belly room for another style. I would recommend stopping in if you’re in Bluffton Co. SC“

“Restaurant/brewpub and cannery located in a newer shopping center that seems to be anticipating more growth. Huge patio with a very nice ping-pong table. Selection has about a dozen taps of home team brews. I had two brews and both were above average. They have flights and 10 oz pours as well. Menu has the usual burgers, bbq, sandwiches and appetizers. Had the brisket sandwich and it was pretty good. Service was good but there was some confusion about the beer menu description vs. what was served to some in my party. Seemed to be more of a management/beer menu misprint issue than the server’s fault.“

“A rustic atmosphere with bar seating, table seating and plush chairs set in group in rear of restaurant. While I was there there was a group of Irish musicians there. They were not paid entertainment but just meet there as a group. Place was quiet when I was there. Staff is friendly and eager to talk. Menu is typical of the current brewery menus but I did not get food. The items I saw come out were presented nicely. Hope to get back and try food.“

“Large, rustic-yet-new building in the back of a shopping center. Big, open bar area with a view of the brewery. The server was very friendly, enthusiastic about their beer, and helpful. $9 flights of four, and $6-7 pints, with a reasonably priced food menu. They have a good spread of house beers, including some specials. This is a nice place, and with a stop.“

“A neat general store, food and snacks to chairs and tables. The beer selection seems to be getting better and biger. Beer singles and make a six pack available. Look around store because stacks of beer can be on end caps and stacked around the store. Many USA crafts and some good imports. Some of the imports are pretty bad but if your looking for countries like Vietnam and Lebanon it’s there.“

British Open Pub (Restaurant)

“I was here twice, both times it was fairly dead. The views of the course are nice. It is fairly quiet. I also had the feeling that with a name like the British Open Pub it would be like a British Pub but hanging British golfing posters on the wall does not make it so. The first time I was with 3 people. My meal was fair but the other 2 I was with thought the meals were made earlier, frozen and reheated. I did not get that feelig with my Shepards pie but it seemed made by someone with only a small inkling of what it was supposed to be. Beer selections were poor and only big brewery selections.“

British Open Pub (Restaurant)

“I had high hopes for a place proclaiming to be a British pub. I would have expected a good selection of English ales and at least a porter, but nothing. The staff had no clue about beer or even their own selections. To top it off my Smithwick’s Ale was served in an ice cold pint glass. Overall not a good experience.“
