“After a hike I stopped in for a bite and some brew. Lovely vineyard with rolling hills and picnic tables everywhere for beating and drinking. All QR code stuff which is annoying. Small beer menu I got a ok brew and six pack to go only 3 other items of theirs. Tried wit at tasting room but wine only there. Staff ok friendly. Quite busy. Not a great beer spot and prices high. But still nice“

“Set on a hillside (with a huge car park) the Nashoba Valley Winery is in a lovely spot - quite unlike the Bolton I know in the north of England! As well as wines you can taste their Bolton Beer Works brews, either in the tasting room attached to the shop or in their restaurant. There were about six or eight available when we were there. “The grounds of the winery are pretty, but filled with signs of "DON’T do this, DON’T do that", which isn’t very welcoming. Walk up to a large house that houses the small tasting bar, a large bottle shop (for wine, mead, liquor, beer and cider) and gift shop. The tasting was an alright deal ($8 for five tastings) and you could choose from a large wine selection (or mead/cyser) and about six draft beer/cider choices. Liquor tastes are extra. Their beverages were hit or miss, and the space was very crowded on a weekday. Staff was at times rude, and often completely uninformed about what they were serving. Well worth a visit for the huge breadth of what they offer, but there are quite a few things that management could improve to make this a more enjoyable destination.“

“We spotted some signs took a little detour and found the winery and were surprised they had a brewery as well. Just in time for a great sampling of beer, wine, mead and spirits. Wine being in the fore front. Very clean and French Country style farm like local. Friendly staff-servers and sampled a lot. Beers were all middle of the road with some highlights. There Northern Comfort cognac was really good and liked the Nashoba Mead. Great summer stop, had most all of there wares in stock although some very pricey. Worth a visit.“

“first stop on Dirtymike’s and my tour of western Mass breweries. They have a winery, distillery, and brewery on the premises. Tasting room and store is set in a nice large country type farm house. Very clean and nice building. Had samples of some ports, liquor and beer. Beer I sampled was clean but pretty ordinary. Got a tour of the distillery, winery, and brewery which was pretty cool, and the brewer hooked us up with a bunch of low fill IPA’s and belgian dubbel’s, that deserves a perfect score. Will hope to visit again during the summer or fall.“

“As we walked into the beautiful renovated house the place is clean, well lite, the wine dominates most of the area. The beer is straight back as you walk in. There are no growlers (only six packs $7.99 and singles $2.25). They have lots of cool glassware and gadgets for wine as well as a few things for the beer in house. The tasting area is to the left as you walk in. They have all the wines they make for tasting, Also the spirits, as well as all the beers including the seasonals. (Note:You could taste as much as you want for free.) As we entered we went straight to the tasting, I was very curious about any seasonal beers they had. They had six beers on tap (Heron Ale, Bolt 117, English-IPA, and three seasonals Imperial Stout which they were out for purchase but still on tap, Peach Lambic, and Barleywine). All six beers were well crafted and fresh, I loved the ambiance of Nashoba. Everything was friendly, clean, and easy to find. I will def be back for dinner at J’s restaurant and for a tour hopefully once the weather is warmer and the trees are in full bloom. “

“I guess in my rating of ambiance, I’m taking in to account the whole grounds of the place, orchard, lovely restaurant, all the old barns and even the tasting room is very elegant. Awesome fruit wine selection, good ciders, perrys, fortified wines, liquors. Beer is a little lackluster, selection wise, only 4 or 5 types on at once. I’m dying to get here in the summer.“

“Now, this isn’t a beer place. They specialize in fruit wines, but have a brewery and distillery too. The shop is real nice, loft ceiling, exposed wood kinda place. You’ll find the beer in the wall toward the back. Just their own beers obviously. People have always been great, including the brewer, Ben, who chatted with me for a bit. There is a restraunt associated with the winery, J’s, that is high end, dinner for two will probably fall be between 75 -100 bucks. Had a kangaroo steak there. Not sure how to score overall, I’ve always had a good experience here, but the emphasis is wine. Just a few minutes off 495.“
