Wow, I've been wanting to try the beers from here after reading other reviews, not disappointed at all. They are all very good beers! Flights of 4 beers and good prices. Pretty busy on aSat night but service was fast.

As a bonus, I was able to buy some single cans to go. I would have loved to have been able to linger longer and hope to make it back again soon.“ |

If you are like me and like those but prefer other things, still probably worth your time to stop here (they're very good) but MAP will be more your bag. It's beer--you should drink what you want. They do very good work and, again, the food was excellent.“ |

Around 12-14 of their beers on draft, and they do some cool stuff. A coffee zwickelbier? A 10% Japanese rice lager? This stuff was creative and awesome, and that's not even getting to their beautiful location or great staff. One of the most surprisingly great brewery stops I've made.“ |

But the beer - places from all over Montana, and there's some good beer up here. A few things from MAP, nothing from Mountains Walking or Imagine Nation. Which is fine--those places distribute. Ultimately the focus on Montana is both welcome (where else will you get this many beers from this large a state) and also a bit limiting (the really great Montana breweries, other than MAP, distribute). I tend to give bonus points for localness though and this place gets those bonus points.“ |

The shop is small but well organized and stocked. Primarily Montana and Belgian beers, but some other international and domestics can be found as well. Interesting out of state domestics can be a challenge to find in Montana, and this is a good spot to check out. While the selection isn't enormous, you can find some great beers here that you won't fine other places in the Bozeman area. In the end, the selection so quite good for Montana, but if you were in another state (Colorado, Michigan, North Carolina, etc.) you might be a bit disappointed, so keep that in mind with my selection rating. The staff is friendly, attentive, and happy to provide suggestions. This is a great spot to check out if you are looking for an interesting beer in Bozeman and don't want to hit up one of the local breweries for their latest sampling.“ |

This was probably the best spot for ticking in Bozeman.“ |

Atmosphere was a bit dive bar with loud music, not my thing really. They do serve tasters which were mostly 2$.“ |

There were 12 taps, with a variety of styles such as pineapple IPA, 2 fruited sours, several IPAs, barleywine, IIIPA, and others. The fruited sours (peach and blackberry) were delicious, as was the pineapple IPA. They have a small food menu (mostly wood fired pizzas). I got a cup of the bison chili, which was phenomenal, and the pizza was really good. Overall, the beers were solid, the food was delicious, and a very enjoyable stop. My favorite beer stop in Bozeman.“ |

The berliner weisse was good, as was their hopsour, but some of their regular offerings were just ok. Probably my least favorite stop in Bozeman, just because they have a bunch of really solid breweries, so I would probably save this for last, though it's not a bad stop.“ |

The place was completely full when I visited on a weekday evening (they did have an upstairs area closed, so perhaps it was extra crowded than usual). There is a wraparound bar, a few booths, some large tables to share, and some couches around a fireplace. There is also a beautiful outside patio that overlooks the lake and mountains. I only stayed for one beer, but my chai-infused altbier was delicious. The food menu was somewhat small (tacos, sandwiches, and burgers). My turkey avocado bacon sandwich was delicious. I would have liked to come back here again, although there is so much good beer in Bozeman it's hard to make repeat stops! Definitely put this one on your list though.“ |

Place was full and we had to wait half an hour before getting a booth, but service was quick and friendly. Nevertheless I felt that they wanted to rush things when our meal was done and we didn't want dessert. Beer selection is interesting enough (especially) for a foreigner, as you can take a flight with four beers from tap. Food was decent; I had a linguine with meatballs - normal portion for American standards, which was a relief. Prices are okay. Rather spacious inside with lots of light; wooden benches; a bit like a pirate's den. More fun than cosy.“ |
| 90 /100 510 MANLEY ROAD “MAP brewing is fairly new on the scene, but is clearly making an impression with the quality of their beer. I was looking forward to this stop, around noon on a Sunday. The tasting room is definitely outside of the main part of town, borderline rural. They have their own lot. The building itself is fairly large and houses the bar/tasting room, brewing equipment and a food service area. Not sure how the kitchen arrangement works; it seems permanent but you need to order it separately from the window. I did not try the food so I cannot speak to quality. There were already a number of people there when I walked in, mostly clustered at the fairly large "O" shaped bar and a few sitting outside. They have a fairly standard taplist with their regulars on it, with the ones currently on checkmarked. They are always running some specials as well. 12 taps I believe. They offered flights of four 4 oz pours as is the standard in Montana for ease of enforcing the three pint law for tasting rooms. Decent variety of styles, including a couple of Gose. Nothing barrel aged. Service was friendly and helpful. I ordered a flight and enjoyed my beers, with Midas, Destination and the straight Gose being the highlights - all three were excellent and up to national standards in every way. The others were at least good. At the end I asked if I could purchase a single 4 oz pour of a specialty chile beer and she just gave me one for free, which was pretty nice of her. Based on my experience, MAP is making the best beer in Bozeman by a fairly broad margin, and has also provided a nice place to visit. Good job guys. Oh, and the do crowlers to go.“ |

Not busy at all, street parking right in front which seemed odd. Fairly large inside, with a bar area facing the taps and pizza kitchen and a lot of tables of all sizes. They have a decent taplist with a locals focus that was likely pretty nice 3 or 4 years ago, but has now been surpassed by other Bozeman locations. Pizza was good, not great. They did offer flights of four, but I ended up just having a beer, which is nice for a change :). Nothing at all wrong with this place, its just that the scene has caught up to and in most ways surpassed it as a beer destination.“ |

I cannot comment on parking since we walked, but its a pretty large space with a restaurant / bar on the main floor and a nice outdoor seating area on the roof. Looked to be about 60 taps, with a significant focus on MT breweries along with a smattering of other stuff of interest. All beers prices as 5oz pours, full pours, and growlers. Prices pretty amazing. Pints of IPA were $4, which is crazy talk coming from California. Service was prompt and efficient. A bit noisy on the first floor due to live music, but that was easily solved by going up on the roof, where the weather was awesome. Its worth noting that the roof bar has a subset of whats on tap downstairs; you need to go down yourself if you want something not up there.“ |

This place had about the highest average beer quality of any on my trip this time; everything other than the red was good or better. A place to watch.“ |

Inside is a sports bar inside an old brick building type ambiance. The bar food is pretty basic stuff. They did a great job of the tap list, which is the main focus. Besides having tons of Montana stuff which is the norm for around here, they actually had a few things from out of state, including a Belgian or two. Prices are great and like a lot of bars here, they do growler fills. Considering the killer rooftop and the late night hours, this is a handy stop.“ |

Nothing in town beats sipping a pint on this patio. The beer is stellar. Everything I had here and around town is immaculate. Prices, like everywhere in Bozeman, are cheap. The inside of the building is spacious and has cool map themed decor. Service was great. There was a kitchen sharing space with these guys that has some great lamb sliders. MAP was the highlight of our visit.“ |

Its clean interior is reminiscent of corporate/generic restaurants but it is comfortable. There were no open seats at the bar any time we visited, but the table service was great. Montana Ale Works, as the name would imply, focuses heavily on beer from Montana. Lucky for us, there is plenty of great beer from the area. If you’re from out of state you’ll see all kinds of exciting, new beer to drink. There were dozens of beers available spanning plenty of styles. The food is pricey, but definitely top notch. This would be a good place to get quality beef and bison, another Montana staple. Given the extensive beer selection, good food, good service, convenient location, and favorable kitchen hours, we wound up returning a few times.“ |

Beers were well crafted, had the Destination and Mr. Myagi (sp). Both great, but the service and the layout were awesome. We sat on a big comfy couch and enjoyed our beers while families, bicyclists and other groups all seemed to be having a good time. The brewery has a food truck on the premises and outdoor seating overlooking a small lake. Could have spent the day out there, but it was still pretty cold.“ |

There’s also a nice patio area with a big fireplace.All of their cider is brewed in house with an impressive fermentation set-up. I believe they have three standard ciders on tap, one rotater, and one reserve. The reserve was stored in a firkin next to the draft lines. The guy working when I went was pleasant and helpful. I tried a flight of five for $9, which I think is a great price. All around an enjoyable spot to spend some time. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town.“ |
