“Great looking old resturant. Food was great and rather cheap. Service was with a smile and very helpful. No the best english. They only served beers for Kacov at the resturant.“

“Visited 2.10.17. Right outside the city. Drank 2 beers from tap, had lunch - limited vegetarian and vegan options but they are available. Also, a fridge full of contemporary Czech craft beer from Zichovec, if I am not mistaken. Good tamosphere around noon, with family and nearby workers having their lunch there. Beware, the adjacent pub that also serves the brewery's offerings is full of taxidermied animals and dead animal skin. Worth the visit if you have the time or on the way between Prague and Plzn.“

“Jedná se o vskutku výborný pivovar ze sousedství, kde jsem v podstatì nezažil špatné pivo. Prostøední jak pivovaru a tak pøidružené hospùdky je velmi pøívìtivé a má krásný feel staré doby. Obsluha je též velmi pøíjemná,a rychlá. Kvalitnì umyté pùlitry, pivo dobøe kroužkuje. Jídlo je též velmi chutné, dal jsem si hermelín obalovaný v bramboráku s tatarkou no vskutku lahoda k pivu a za velmi pøívìtivou cenu. Celkovì se jedná o cenovì velmi dostupné posezení. Mohu jen doporuèit.“

“Great brew pub, brewing some good beer, the dark is excellent. Good value Czech food. Well worth the bus trip from Prague. "Beware" At time of writing they don’t accept credit cards!“

“Visited with Dedollewaitor and have much the same comments. The old pub room is easily the most interesting to vsit. Local, cheap, cosy and authentic.“

“You got 2 options. Go a hundred years back in time and visit the small pub which is a lot cheaper. Or go to the Restaurant. They had 3 taps both places. In the Restaurant they had the Tmavy Dunkel 14 which was amazing. Food was standard Czeck and extremely cheap. A 3 course meal for 59 Czk :-) Crazy! All around worth a tour. 10 minutes by bus from Dep. Hostivar. BUT: From 11-14 A.M they rarely drive. Taxi is 250 CZK.“

“The pick of the brewpubs on my Czech Republic visit - and only just squeezed in before flying out (it is handy 20 minutes from the airport). The beer was extremely good, and the food was good as well. It was very tempting to miss my flight!“

“Use the small bar at the end of the drive. Quite rustic the 14% special was very good and the prices excellent. relaxed and pleasant“

“Visited this place 13.11.08 At this brewery, you got a restaurant, and you got a pub (pivovarská krčma) the former with absollutely no atmosphere at all, better go next door, then its a different story, like a time travell, you are transferred back in time, a lit fireplace, sheepskins on the wooden benches. The beer is also sheep, half the price of the restaurant. Food is traditional Czech with no surprises. Lunch menu was 60 Kc, a steal. 20Kc for the beers which are pretty good, try the výčepní at only 3 % ABV this is a smooth beer. Before you leave, remember to go back to the restaurant, here you can purchase their beer in 1,5 l PET bottles.“

“Right in the middle of nowhere you would never guess that the building in the back hides a warm and well maintained brewpub. Very cozy and authentic mom and pop decoration. Mom and pop service (excellent). 5 or 6 big tables, heavy wood, fireplace, fur on the seats (!!!), I could go on and on but you really have to visit the place to get the feel of it. Three home beers on tap, an above average Světlé and two other unspectacular ones. Food was average, at least my goulash was, but average food in Czech Republic is still very good food. Bottom line: really worth a visit for the place itself more than for the beer or the food.“

“Brewpub, established in 1992, on the edge of Prague in buildings, that look like a former JZD (cooperative farm). Friendly and helpful service, average boring czech meals, good home-brewed beers. Worth a detour !“

“Visited in 2007. Didn’t eat since it didn’t fit our schedule, but if I ever find the time to go back I think I will. Nice surroundings, though it does take some planning and time to get there from Prague when going by public transport. Nice beers also.“

“Établissement visité le lundi 17 mars vers 11h30. Ambiance: L’endroit est completement perdu dans un petit village ou l’autobus arrête à la porte de la brasserie. Quand on regarde le batiment on se demande s’il y a vraiment une brasserie ici. Il ne faut pas se fier à l’extérieur. L’intérieur est surpebe avec ses belles poutres apparantes. Un petit foyer nous accueille. Service: Lague tchèque avec un peu de français et d’anglais. Sympathique. Sélection: Lors de notre visite 3 fûts maisons étaient disponible (2 réguliers et un brassin spécial). Nourriture: J’ai opté pour une goulash. (73e rating d’établissement)“

“This brewpub is in the hamlet of Chyne, near Hostivice, about 15km to the west of Prague. There is a bus stop just in front of the buildung. Pivovarsky Dvur Chyne consists of 2 different restaurants, one more upper class, and the other (krcma) offers cheap and good basic Czech meals at midday. The beer is excellent and can be taken home in 1,5l bottles. Staff are very friendly. Souvenirs like glasses and bottle openers available.“
