86 /100 Natalie Jane’s Tavern on the Square (Restaurant) 1424 WASHINGTON ST All three trips to the area I’ve made it in to Natalie Jane’s to enjoy what I found to be a surprisingly great beer offering both on tap and in bottles. Service is great and the food is very good as well! |
40 /100 Ingles - Clarkesville (Grocery Store) 199 E LOUISE ST This place is just a supermarket. So don’t expect much. However, it is one of the few places in the are that allow BYO 6-Pack which even other stores within this chain are not doing at this time. The selection is low with a few interesting brews in the singles section and a dose of craft beers from New Belgium, Sweetwater, and Terrapin in the 6-pack section. Again not great, the only area access to BYO 6-packs. |
72 /100 Natalie Jane’s Tavern on the Square (Restaurant) 1424 WASHINGTON ST This is nice cozy restaurant in Clarkesville’s downtown square. The menu is great featuring sandwiches and pub food during lunch and fancier meals for dinner. The venue offers a great wine and beer selection for the area. The tap features macro domestics, micro domestics, and micro imports. Of the about 30+ beers available in bottle a good selection of local mircobrews are available, particularly Terrapin and Sweetwater beers. A good place to enjoy a meal and a fine beer and one of the better beer selections in the area. |
