“What started as a random place tick, just to get the state on my list, turned out as a great stop. Extremely friendly service. 10 beers on, we took 2 flights of 4 but got all 10 :) We were given our favorite beers to go, even though it were the very last bottles ever made of their kolsch ever made. they have crowler-filling possibilities, as well as growlers. The beers were nice. Absolutely reccomended if you are in the area, at ebenezers, for instance.“

“From outside not much...inside large brewery with 12 or so taps. You can get them all as sample for 2 $. Service was very friendly and attentive. I like that it was clean. Beers were mostly good with few misses. Bonus , they grow hops in the backyard.“

“Picked up a growler while visiting the White Mountains. Located right off the Kancamagus. Bigger brewery than I was expecting, definitely look like they’re going to either mass produce, or contract out some tanks. There’s a little souvinere spot by the door. I picked up a snifter, good quality. Growlers were $20 if I remember correctly but if you return it you get a discount on your next one. The place was pretty busy and only 1 person was serving. 2 other employees were standing at the other end of the bar but didn’t bother helping. That was annoying, but besides that, the place was nice.“

“It’s inside the big white hotel on Main Street. They had the Tuckerman Pale Ale on tap which is my favorite beer when I travel up north. It’s brewed in Conway and I took a great brewery tour there back in the day. Will be back.“

“They’ve moved to a new location across the street from their old location and offer greatly expanded hours with more to come. Four beers on tap during our visit. The sampling table is set up right in front of the brewery. Nice place to stop for a free sampling and great people.“

Flatbread Company (Restaurant)

“Easy to miss place because it is integrated with a hotel/Inn building called the Eastern Slope Inn Resort. The Flatbread sign is hard to see so look for the Eastern Slope Inn Resort sign, not the Flatbread sign. Surprisingly large interior divided in two semi-separated sections. The pub section on your right has a long bar and is totally appropriate to hang around drinking beer if you don’t want to eat there. The biggest section is the restaurant and it has a very nice open atmosphere. Overall the place looks great and you totally forget that you are part of a hotel building. About a dozen tap when I was there including Smuttynose, Long Trail, Tuckerman, etc. I was especially surprised to see two Moat Mountain brews on tap, isn’t Moat Mountain (1 mile away) a competitor of this place? The thin crust pizzas looked great but I didn’t eat there. To me the pizzas, oven, atmosphere, concept and everything felt like Burlinton’s Flatbread but without the Zero Gravity micro that they have in Burlington. However I just surfed the net and there seems to be two groups of Flatbread franchise (www.flatbreadcompany.com, www.americanflatbread.com). Seems like the same different thing to me. Overall this place is worth a stop but I recommend Moat Mountain (1 mile up the same road) over this place unless of course you really want a pizza.“
