72 /100 Harrows Inn (Bar) SCHOOL LANE Visited on a Friday evening in August 2015 in FLBHs roller skate. Not an easy place to get to by public transport. Nice modern interior, beer garden with a slide for the more fitness conscious rater. 6 handpulls on with 3 from the Banks Marstons stable plus guests. Also 15 ciders and perries available. Beer well kept and less than £3 a pint. Nice place. Won country pub if the year for local Camra. It’s worth a look |
86 /100 Harrows Inn (Bar) SCHOOL LANE New Entrant to the 2015 Good beer guide, refurbished in 2013. Located on the A449 between Wolverhampton and Penkridge on the left of the north bound carriageway at the Coven lights. Excellent pub with a beer theme and regular changing beers. House brew is Broughs "Harrows", with 5 other guests from varying breweries. When I visited on 14/12/14 they had Salopian, Three Tuns, Welbeck Abbey and Sadlers. Food is all locally sourced and cooked to order and is very good value and very good quality. Pool Table present and pub caters for coaches. Well worth a visit. |
