“Visited 10/2/2019. We were told about this place by the guys at Tap & Bottles and it was well worth the small detour to come here before heading down to Chester. Good selection of local beers, very keenly priced. Good selection of foreign stuff too (though that wasn't my purpose). Service was friendly. Check it out if in the area and wanting local stuff.“

“Great little beer store with a wide selection of local beers, some nationals as well as a nice selection of foreign beers including some really nice lambics. A mix of traditional ales and craft beer. Good service and good prices on the local beers. ——— Revisited a year later, and this is nowhere near what it was. They have sealed off half the store, and beers are spread thin on the shelves. We did find six new beers of interest.“

“Local CAMRA pub of the year in 2014 and 2015, this is good example of a micro pub. Former shop with plenty of tables and chairs. Decent selection of ales, although only 1 tick for me. Well worth a visit.“
