72 /100 Three Kings Public House (Restaurant) 11925 MANCHESTER RD This place is very close to my house. Has a very "West County" feel to it meaning if your not from the area, your looked at strangely. Beer selection is fantastic. Service is hit-miss. One of the hot bartenders was a real bitch when asked simple questions. Food is awesome-try the toasted ravioli’s. |
50 /100 Trader Joe’s - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 13343 MANCHESTER RD Shopped here numbers of times. Some beers available, but not a beer destination. If you need groceries, and don’t want to make a special trip to a beer store, this is a good bet. |
74 /100 Three Kings Public House (Restaurant) 11925 MANCHESTER RD Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Three different areas, patio, bar and dining room. Not real crowded, plenty of room in each area. Food was awesome, we tried a couple of different items, both were excellent. 30 taps, a good selection to choose from, nothing over the top, lot of good choices. Worth a visit if you are in the area. |
70 /100 Schnucks - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 12332 MANCHESTER RD I have visited several Schnuck’s stores in the area, and this store is by far the best. They have a big walk-in cooler and keep it stocked very well. There is another cooler with just bombers in it. I was very impressed with the selection of beers they keep in stock. Will definitely be returning as new releases hit the market. |
56 /100 Trader Joe’s - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 13343 MANCHESTER RD all TJs are almost exactly the same in a city, the alcohol is exactly the same. Its TJs. |
52 /100 Schnucks - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 12332 MANCHESTER RD why is this place on here? this schnucks is no different than any other Schnucks in town and they are everywhere. |
62 /100 Trader Joe’s - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 13343 MANCHESTER RD Typical Trader Joe’s. At this one they had all the usual Trader Joe & JosephsBrau beers. Also had a few Ommegang’s, Unibroue’s, lots of Boulevard, a few Schlafly, and some other randoms. Decent prices. Great that they let you pull singles out of six packs to make your own! |
72 /100 Schnucks - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 12332 MANCHESTER RD Good sized walk in beer cooler with a broad selection, including bombers |
70 /100 Trader Joe’s - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 13343 MANCHESTER RD Another decent Trader Joe’s in the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Had a few of their Josephbrau beers in stock, nothing really exciting. Best to mix and match so you don’t have six of the same ok beers. |
76 /100 Trader Joe’s - Des Peres (Grocery Store) 13343 MANCHESTER RD As with all Trader Joe’s, a smallish but high quality, diverse, and very affordable selection. They have many "store-brand" beers brewed for them by micros such as Gordon Biersch, Goose Island, August Schell, Cervecería Mexicana, even Unibroue. It’s mainly a hipster foodie grocery store, but workers are surprisingly knowledgeable about the beer they sell. I love that you can mix your own six pack. My only complaint, though it’s rarely an issue, is they make you buy at least 3 bottles at a time. I’m pretty sure that’s no longer a state law because most other stores have done away with the policy. |
