“Cool brewery with a lot of taps. Friendly service, and decent beer. Flights available. They had a BBQ window when I was in but missed the open hours as I was in late. Beer mostly pretty good.“

“Huge place with a ton of beers on tap, both Dunedin's and lots of Florida guest taps. No flights available though, so not exactly a place to hit on the ticking trail. Service was friendly enough, but it was super busy here on a Friday night. Not really the best time to go if you want to try beers etc. Their house stuff, despite being House of Beer, wasn't great.“

“Friendly small place in the brewery hood of Dunedin. Decent selection of beers, all available in flights. Nice space with a decent patio out back. Friendly service and patrons. Beers were decent, with a good selection of styles to be had.“

“Was excited to visit this place for the Belgians but they really didn't have many on tap when I was in. Had a flight, beers were mostly OK and above average. They had about 16 beers on tap but a whole 4-6 of them were stuff like strawberry blonde and other stuff on the non-beer end of the beer spectrum. And seltzers. Nice cool place with a great design and cool patio though. I'd go back to see if I just had bad luck, but was a little disappointed. Service was OK.“

“Big place with a pretty big selection. Mostly all the local stuff is only available in six packs, but there is a ton of bombers. Really the great part is the international selection here though. Tons of stuff from Belgium, Denmark, Canada and other smaller countries you don't normally see. There was a huge sale of old imported stuff they were offloading when I was there and got some real deals. Otherwise prices were strange -- some really cheap stuff, some very expensive. Service OK. Worth a stop for the odd stuff, but not really a place to go if you're looking for tons of local Florida singles.“

“Stopped in after lunch to fill a growler. Unfortunately they don’t fill outside glassware for some ridiculous reason so they filled these plastic containers for me, not the most green. Anyways big open warehouse and patio Right downtown. So many breweries in few block radius here. Lots of taps and wide variety of styles. The few I had were just ok but appreciate the effort.“

“We came here on 29.12.2018. Seems this is the oldest micro brewery in Florida, founded in 1995. Very centrally located in Dunedine, a very lively town in the evening. When we came they had good live music. Beers were just ok. Liked the Scotland flags hanging from the fermentation tanks.“

“We came here on 29.12.2018. After visiting the new tap room and brewing facility in Tampa the day before, we had to come to the original 7venth Sun Brewing place, which has been existing for 7 years. 2 room facility: brewery and bar and a small outside seating area. Beers are all great !!! They had 11 beers on tap, less than the Tampa location, but did not really matter. We had a 5 beer taster. Love their Super Sec: a Brut IPA and the Kveik Farmhouse Ale. All beers we had here were outstanding. You can order great Sandwiches from the place next door (I had ‚Fly to the Moon‘, one of the best sanwiches we ever had). A must visit when you are in this area and definitely worth a detour. I hope we will come back one time.“

“After having visited them Tampa location, this place was a bit of a disappointment. Only about 10 taps in a tiny tasting room. 4 oz pours available for $3. Limited selection of beers. Not a mandatory stop, but it is right off the ocean.“

“Visited probably 100+ times since 01/11/2013. First beer was FYA and most recently was Vultures From the Past on Hunahpu's Hangover Day 03/11/2018. This is THE go to brewery in the Tampa Bay area. Multiple pour and growler options at a very good price. The location is small enough that if you blink while you're walking by you will miss it but there is almost always people outside no matter what time of day it is. The beers range from good to phenomenal dependent on your preference. Specializing in the not so common and fruited styles the taplist can be a little daunting for newcomers to the craft beer scene. There are now numerous bottle/can options by both 7venth Sun and guest breweries available at all times. The employees are always super knowledgeable and the beer events here are never to be missed. The Tampa location has split the crowd a little bit with the taps favoring more for Tampa but the Dunedin location still holds a nostalgic place in my heart. For being a tiny brewery in a little city in Florida hardly anyone can pronounce the respect is world renown. I can't wear 7venth Sun merch when I brewery hop in other cities/countries without at least one or two people in the industry chatting me up about them.“

“Visited a few times since 11/23/2016: First beer was Dry Hopped Pale Ale and most recent beer was OH Amber on 02/11/2018. Took ratebeer gnoff on 02/09/2017. Tiny tiny brewery in Dunedin within walking distance of 6 other breweries. Prime location right on the Pinellas Trail that they definitely took advantage of by having seating outside right there. I feel weird saying this but I find the beer to be mediocre across the board even though they have been consistently winning State and National medals at festivals the last two years. All of the employees are very nice and pretty knowledgeable. Few different pour/flight options but as far as I know no bottle/can releases. With most breweries in Dunedin, no food options but there is more than enough within walking distance. Maybe worth checking out but as a local there are better breweries closeby.“

“Place close to 7thSun along the St Pete trail. As with many new breweries, plenty of parking issues especially with all the restaurants next door. Friendly service, all of their own beers with the small brewhouse on location and some guest beers plus wine, fair prices with flights available. Award winning porter which was very tasty. Nice outside area along the trail, plenty of local folks there for a beer. Some snacks avail and growlers to go.“

“A multi room bar with billiards, board games, and golden tee to keep you occupied. The vibe fits the town, somewhere between beach, tourist, and back home. Service was good, knowledgeable and quick, friendly when they wanted. Selection was solid, lots of good local stuff and some solid nationals as well. The best beer bar in Dunedin, take that as you will.“

“It’s the oldest brewery in Florida, and it kind of shows with the additions that have been pieced together over the years. An outdoor patio, a main room that is alos the brewery and stage, a side nook room, and it looked like a tacked on bathroom area. Service was pretty decent, nothing to write home about, food and beer were about the same, unexciting. Worth a stop if you’re there, because there isn’t much.“

“Interesting little pub with many smallish rooms with different atmospheres. On a weekend lunch, the crowd was a fun blend of student groups and young families. Close to 7venth Sun, so it makes sense to combine and grab a meal here. Beers are okay, not very modern, but well-brewed in general. Just do not expect to be surprised, but sometimes you’re not in the mood for that. Okay sandwiches. Service was good.“

“A fine, very popular tasting room that seems too small for its popularity. Nice selection, good to great beers. A fun experience which is a typical American taproom, and exactly as it should be, with the smallish brewing kit in rear view, growlers to go and keep you safe on the roads and experimental brews on service. Efficient, professionnal service. Good spot.“

“New visit on Sunday January 29, 2017. Parking available close by. Nice fast service, huge tap list on screens. Flights and small pours available. A place I’d go to again for sure. Also house brewed beers now.

Got a flight of beers. Walked over from Dunedin brewery. Didn’t eat. Dark place, some low volume music playing. Nice fast service. Good selection of domestic and imported draught beers, decent bottle selection as well. Nice place.“

“Visited twice on my latest trip, Sunday Jan 29 and Monday Feb 6, 2017.
Still very nice place with great service and interesting taps. Appreciated that short pours can be had of all beers. Some parking in the back, else parking e.g. at HOB and a short walk, though the intersection can be crap to cross when the lights for pedestrians don’t want to work. Some guest drinks, could be by the bottle as e.g. the B. Nektar they had this time around. Shaded patio as well as some seating in the sun. Highly recommended.

Visited on January 19, 2014.
They had 10 taps on, one guest at the rest from 7venth Sun. All beers served as 4 or 12 oz, I got the 10 beers as 4 oz for $2 each, also sampled a B. Nektar mead as 4 oz, think that was $4.
Nice friendly knowledgeable service. Didn’t eat, don’t think they have a kitchen. Fairly small place, but not crowded when we visited. Some parking available just in the back. Walking distance to Dunedin brewery and Dunedin House of Beers. Nice to be able to buy small samples by the glass for sure!“

“Visited first time on Sunday January 29, 2017.
Very limited parking, we parked at HOB and then walked over. Nice little patio and beer garden, but too sunny for us northerners, so we sat inside. Visible brewery, some upstairs seating. OK service, though the one guy I ordered from wasn’t up to speed on beer ingredients. Nice addition to Dunedin since my last visit to the area. Beer flights in wood looks awesome and well made.“

“a rather new place at this point, less than a couple months old. place is kinda run down looking but i think thats what they are going for. beers were disappointing though-neither of us could finish ours. will check back again in a few months-takes time for places to dial in recipes sometimes. good luck to them regardless. “

“Stopped in for a couple beers, conveniently located around the corner from 7venth Sun. Came in during Monday night comedy night, which appears to be one of many events they do during the week. Furthest thing from clean comedy though that’s for sure. Still a fun time. Didn’t order food, though it looked really good. Good beer selection, with over a dozen taps. Decent beer. Grabbed a few stickers. Cool visit. Worth the stop for sure if you are already at 7venth Sun.“

“Visted this brewery upon recommendation, driving back through after a long day. All I needed was a good beer, and they definitely provided that. I don’t know why I was expecting a bigger spot, but it was a really small taproom, that I almost drove right past. A good amount of outdoor seating though, which was nice. 10 or so beers on tap, with a wide variety, and top notch uniqueness. A couple guest taps and a couple bottles of cider/mead. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Beer offered in different size, from tasters to full pints. Good prices. All the beers were really good. Had a good time here.“

“Finally made it out to the brewery. Their beer was the first Florida beer my wife bought for me when we started dating. So there is some sentimental value. This place had a band so it was standing room only. We spent most of it in the parking lot outside the beer garden. Tap selection was vast. Service was decent. We didn’t try the food, but heard it was pretty good. Will probably visit again when in town.“

“Stopped by here while being in Dunedin. Weirdly set up building as it seems like three in one, but the tap selection was amazing. “Walked here while staying with friends. Smallish taproom with some brewing supplies scattered about. They did have a covered area outside with seating, but the smokers were really making it cloudy. They had a nice tap selection with a few tap only beers, additionally they had a few other area guest taps on. Unfortunately we got there just before closing time so I grabbed a growler to go. Hope to get back here or their new brewery location once that is finished.“

“Smallish place right on a busy 4-lane highway across from a gas station, so it’s not the most pleasant place to sit and drink despite having an outdoor patio. Rather surly bartender when I visited, just stared at me without a smile when I walked up to the bar. 8 or 10 things to choose from...tried the session IPA and a Belgian thing that smelled like it had lavender added to it, both were unremarkable (didn’t bother rating either but both would have been high 2s to low 3s). Nothing special.“

“Definitely one of my favorite little breweries! A previous rater said it had a Bohemian atmosphere - Yup, its true. Its also ’comfortable’ and friendly. You meet all kinds here and you’re always at home. The selection is eclectic, creative and seasonably appropriate. Worth a visit if you’re in the Tampa/Dunedin vicinity. You’ll always find some good stuff here. Love you 7venth Sun!“

“Small place on Broadway in Dunedin. Bohemian music playing. Service is good, friendly, and down-to-earth. A narrow bar lines the window looking out to the street. A tasting bar separates the customer from the server pouring the taps behind her (on this occasion). Nine taps on with one guest tap from a neighboring brewery. Half growlers are available.“

“Really nice to see Justin’s brainchild. Easy to find off Skipper and Alt-19. Small bar with a solid selection of brews with enough rotation happening plus some guest beers in bottles - they had B.Nektar and Cascade. Friendly service with the possibility of getting 4oz samples for 2$ and growlers to go. Innovative to say the least. A nice spot to hang out in the lively Dunedin. Looks like their new Seminole Height location will be a welcome addition to the area.“

“Right on the waterfront, quiet little dock area in the beautiful Dunedin. Enjoy the breeze while sitting outside with some country music in the background. About 15 beers on draft with 12 being craft and a good variety of local choices. Decent price on the beers. Good seafood menu although the place is more along the lines of a friendly pub than a seafood restaurant. Nice and friendly service who was honest about which fish was fresh catch and which was frozen. Prices are a bit on the up side especially for wraps especially for typical FL fish such as grouper or snapper. Still, the atmopshere more than made up for it.“

Visited February 20, 2015 with RBWG.

Been meaning to check out Tampa for quite a while now and Winter Gathering was the perfect opportunity. This is a nice little place with a patio and a small tasting bar. The brewery is in the next room over. They gave our group a bunch of free tasters of some new bottled experiments. Really friendly and hooked us up. Plenty of beers available on tap and some cool glassware to buy.“

“Stopped in on St. Patrick’s Day right before visiting 7venth Sun brewing. The food is decent, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the beer was about average with a few above average. Pretty crazy amount on draft, ( 14 the day we stopped in) I enjoyed the chicken sandwich I had and my friends enjoy the food as well. They also have a small outside patio that was pack for St. Patty’s day. This is as good of place as any to start a day of sipping brews. “
