68 /100 293 E. STATE STREET Went there on a Friday afternoon and they didnt open until 3.So I went out to visit some other breweries, and when I got back in the evening, it was packed. Not a big space to begin with, prett musch every seat was taken. Lots of families and cranky children and the noise level was too much that I had one and left. I'll need to visit again ay a different time so I can review it a little bit better, First impression: not good. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
UPDATE: Revisited at opening on a Saturday. Much different vibe without the crowds. It did fill up soon after we got there |
70 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 Visited July 2017 as part of RBSG. Visited the Boise taproom, located in a strip mall/shopping center near downtown. About a half dozen bar seats and a bunch of tables for patrons. They had about eight ciders on tap we got to try a bottle of their attempt at an ice cider. The staff were really friendly and the service was good. Unfortunately, I didn't really love their cider. But, maybe was just burned out from ticking at the point we arrived. |
82 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 Small, comfy location, co-located with White Dog. Full flights an option . Friendly, fast service. Food available. |
74 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 Visited with the RBSG group. The place is located in a strip in downtown Boise. Lots of tables to choose from inside, and they were pretty accommodating to our group, allowing us to move some tables together. Good selection of their ciders were offered, and I enjoyed them a lot. I would recommend this place for a visit. |
78 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 Cool place. Big open feel, some outside seating. Great service. They had a great food cart across the street. A new brewpub is being put in next door. Great ciders. solid place. |
72 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 In a plaza, this large room is a bit on the basic side with a small attached patio. Service is pleasant and selection of ciders decent. Flights and wifi are available. Price is good. Cider is a bit on the sweet side with lots of cocktail influences, but they do have an ice cider. Not a bad spot and close to many others. |
74 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 This Cidery offers a large tasting room with outdoor area. The ciders are fresh and good, with food that compliments well. Friendly service. |
76 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 In around 7:30 after a long day of RBSG17 bus crawling. Cool small feel with a good amount of seating. Husband and wife team are doing pretty much everything here. Ciders are decent, and the people are great, very friendly. Had a nice time here, worth a visit.

72 /100 3705 HIGHWAY 16 Big tasting room worn lots of tables and seats at the bar. Good prices and service. |
58 /100 Albertsons - Eagle (Grocery Store) 250 SOUTH EAGLE ROAD I’ll usually check this place out if I’m out in Eagle. Online tap lists make it easy to decide whether to stop or not. Nothing special, but sometimes have a few oddball taps. Bottle selection light compared to other Albertsons. |
68 /100 Schnitzel Garten (Restaurant) 1225 E WINDING CREEK DR Real German ambience, cuisine and beer. Nice touch was German music playing in the background. Food is handmade and worth the wait. Beer selection is limited, but reflects most of the major styles and seasons. Prices a bit on the high side, but pretty authentic. |
60 /100 Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery - Eagle (Restaurant) 155 E RIVERSIDE DRIVE Another stop in Eagle in an upscale setting, but this one is a little more "high-brow." Large open room with plenty of wood and views of the equipment. Food was pretty good, albeit a little pricey. Decent taplist of regional brews. Found this place to be a little too trendy and uppity for my taste. |
50 /100 Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery - Eagle (Restaurant) 155 E RIVERSIDE DRIVE This isn’t a lege of my Idaho friends, I’m up here for a funeral.
Had dinner at this place. A bit noisy and the service was slow getting us menus, taking our order and getting our check, but the food came quickly. The food was good. The only micros on tap were a Sockeye Amber & Black Butte. |
72 /100 Erickson Fine Wines (Beer Store) 150 E RIVERSIDE ST SUITE 120 Selection was limited, but featured some solid regional brewers as well as some harder to find imports. I spent an extra few minutes just talking beer with the staff who was quite knowledgable and friendly. |
68 /100 Erickson Fine Wines (Beer Store) 150 E RIVERSIDE ST SUITE 120 Brian has done a good job getting his shop setup. Eagle needed a good beer store really bad. If you bring Brian suggestions on beer he will try to get them. The selection is currently pretty small, but getting better. |
82 /100 Erickson Fine Wines (Beer Store) 150 E RIVERSIDE ST SUITE 120 This is a big upgrade for Brian after leaving City Market and it subsequently closing. It’s a small face-to-face store with a medium sized selection of beer. Not too large but what’s there is not the usual stuff. Some rarities including Unibroue and more obscure imports. Brian is always awesome and helpful. I’ll be coming here more now that I know it’s here. |
72 /100 Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery - Eagle (Restaurant) 155 E RIVERSIDE DRIVE New place next to the Hilton in Eagle. Northwest decor, high ceilings, tons of TVs. Distillery equipment is very visable and a large bar. Beer on tap is usually seasonal offerings from regional and local breweries. Cask selection is usually some bitter or pale ale or IPA. Food is very good, a bit spendy, but this is the type of place that serves martinis more than anything. Upscale place to eat/drink, worth a shot to a Boise local or someone passing through Eagle for a short stop. |
