68 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 Visited Marts 2008. |
64 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 Cozy small outside area in the Hills. 4 beers on tap in okay condition. Very Friendly service. 3,5 level condition on my visit But have an idea that the beer Can be fresher at times. Fun. |
66 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 3 very decent beers. Loved outdoor patio under the big tree. |
68 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 Monday 13.10.14 about 2 pm, 2 hours before opening time. Friendly staff sold me a bottle of the Pils and one of the Export, and fetched these from the cold store, most welcome since I had just walked 10 - 12 km from Heiligenstadt in very warm weather for October. |
60 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 medium-sized brewery with small attached pub. minimally-decorated and a bit dingy. draft lagerbier and bottles of the vollbier helles for cheap. decent quality but the beer doesn’t stand out from anything in the area. |
80 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 countryside small town Franconian brewery with attached gasthof. draft Bockbier and Schwarzer Keller and bottles of the vollbier landbier, both delicious. nice family running the place, they let us in early to try the beer when they saw us on bikes. |
60 /100 Gasthaus Pinsel (Restaurant) SCHIRNAIDEL 6 very small town Franconian restaurant and bar. a bike ride out of Eggolsheim to reach, but on the way to breweries in Drosendorf and Drugendorf. Hartmann Felsentrunk from tap with Hartmann Pils, Erbshank and Weizen in bottles. |
60 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 Quite cozy and dim rural brewery-tap in a typical franconian half-timbered house, next door to the brewery; when the pub is closed, You can sit on the brewery-yard ("beer-garden") and get some bottled brews directly from the lagering cellars.... |
62 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 Was closed when we went, but the nice couple sold us some bottles anyway. Is a cute-looking place but didn’t notice a beer garden. |
66 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 The brewpub has a pleasant small patio at the stuble. Their Schwartzkeller is up a long, steep and grueling hill--beware if on bicycle. Would not want to ride up there again but would not be a bad walk. We actually had to walk the bikes for the last half of the hill. Once there, the view is spectacular and you can see the whole valley. Plus the keg is inside of the actual keller, which is romantic. Self-serve. Very friendly vibe too. |
42 /100 DRUEGENDORF 26 This is a run down bierstube with high wooden panelling over which is a pee colored wall. Both the bar and the tables have tops of imitated wood. The crowd is very local and only men, and the air is filled with smoke. 1 beer on draft, 2 in the bottle. |
54 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 A very lively place, even on a pouring wet and misty Saturday. Very cozy and home-like - yet still traditionally German. The kitchen gives the bierstube aromas of red beet. Good service. 4 beers on tap. |
64 /100 EGGERBACHSTRASSE 22 Larger, quite "elegant" - by franconian standards - village brewery. Almost only wood inside..., a small patio under shady chestnut-trees is used as a tiny and pleasant beer-garden. The tasty beers are worth a visit !
About three miles from the brewery they own on the foot of a wood-covered hill the "Schwarzer Keller" ("black cellar"), a nice place in the middle of nowhere to sample the "Schwarz Kellerbier" in huge steins. A nice view to the lovely franconian country is included.............. |
