“Restaurant and brewery a little off the beaten track in a pretty rural area. Large patio and the restaurant is nicely authentic looking. Three beers available on tap as well as a couple of bottles. Dinner was abundant and served rapidly. Staff barely speaks any English so be prepared to dust off your broken German.“

“Visited with kermis on our way back from Denmark. Place is quite large, lots of places to sit indoors and outdoors. 4 beers on tap plus one on bottle. Beers surprised me in a positive way, especially the 4-hopfen-weisse was very nice. Food and service (thank you Annette) were great, even though the place was pretty full we got our meals quite quickly. No criticism? Well, staff doesn’t speak very good English so they could definitely improve on that. However, with their little bit of English and my little bit of German it worked out fine. One thing that you have to be aware of though is that you can only pay with a German card or in cash! So bring enough euros in cash or you’ll end up 2 euros short like we did. Another bonuspoint for this place though: they were very cool about it and even though we offered to find an ATM and come back to pay the bill they said it was ok and we didn’t have to do that. Very generous. Definitely recommended, but be sure to bring enough cash!“

“Very nice homestead which has been turned into a nice restaurant/beer garden/party location. The food is great, and usually, there are two or three beers on tap. Great destination for a bike trip.“
