56 /100 Dog and Partridge (Bar) BORDHILL Visited 14/7/2021. Large pub restaurant B&B on the busy A628 between Barnsley and Manchester. Cosy front bar with other drinking and dining areas. Offered up 2 cask ales on this stop, both local and unspectacular choices, but neither I'd had before. Welcome and service was fine. Worth a stop if passing bar. |
52 /100 Dog and Partridge (Bar) BORDHILL A cosy roadside inn and hotel on the edge of the Peak District National Park. There are four hand pumps – nothing spectacular, but the beer was in good condition and it was a handy stop for us on the way to the M1. The food looked good. (Visited 28 December 2012). |
