“Bar established as beer destination in 2014 following Manfred taking over day to day running of the guesthouse. Manfred is a beer sommelier and has many years of experience in the Austrian brewing industry. He has commissioned his own beer for Wulfenia (Triple B, a very good flavoursome light lager) and keeps a growing selection of unusual Austrian beers in stock. He surprised me with the range of beers produced in Austria and was very generous with sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm. Wulfenia is in an unusual location, off the beaten track in a tiny tourist and farming village and its main business is as a small guesthouse. Good value fixed menu meals are also available but reservation is required.“
