“This was a hit with me. I traveled cross-country to get here--a hotel in Glendive was my half-way stop between Minneapolis and Glacier National Park. The hours of this brewery are *very* limited--4 to 8 p.m. just a few days a week, and it was wasn't busy when I stopped in at 6 p.m on a Friday night. But I made it! I was charmed. Small space, immaculately clean, with a bright bar and great transparent sign listing the beers. Nice equipment set behind the bar in a pit-like space. The woman serving was very kind and helpful. The selection was fine, though it is a somewhat narrow range, heavy on the standards (amber, pale, wheat, IPA). A chile beer was the one flavored beer; I would have like a few more challenging things, from sours to Belgians, but I suppose they know that their market in Eastern Montana. The beers I had were well kept and well composed (you can see my ratings. They had fresh popcorn, which my kids liked, and the four beer sampler was $6, which is an appropriate price, good value. Overall, while few people will go out of their way to make it here, if you're going through Glendive, it is definitely worth it to see if you can make the timing work out. This is a place that knows that good beer is about making people happy and treating people right. A little gem of a place.“
