“Mini-market with an extra bottle shop at the back. Service was both friendly and knowledgeable. Beer (bottle and can) selection was good, particularly for local breweries like Almasty and Wylam. Plus as others have said they also have some beers on tap which one can drink in or take away in growlers. Prices were good. Definitely worth a look, have not seen a better place or selection in the area.“

“Located in a suburban convenience store in Brunton Park to the north of Newcastle near Gosforth, by car a short diversion off the nearby A1. The bottle shop is in a separate room which feels like a cellar with shelving and basic wood fixtures. Interesting selection of bottled beers plus afew ciders and 5 to 6 beer taps for takeaway Growler fills including local North-East breweries (my visit was too early to drink-in but can now do that at certain times in their "Hop Secret" room and beer garden). Friendly staff, worth having a look in“

“Really decent bottle shop in Gosforth. Hundreds of interesting selections, with a huge number from local North East breweries as well as plenty from further away and overseas. The bloke serving was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and happy to give samples from their keg lines without even been asked to. Reasonably priced too, I’ll definitely visit again.“

“Seemed to me like a small local grocery store with great beer section. Located in one of Newcastles suburbs, not that far from the A1 motorway. Surprisingly good selection of beers, UK crafts, some interesting US beers, Danish, German. Also they had 2 or 3 taps to fill the growlers. Very good and worth visiting.“

“A bit off the beaten track, but this shop is well worth seeking out. The beer range is fairly diverse and features a lot of local beers as well as an impressive range from the rest of the country and abroad. Keep an eye on their twitter account to see the latest additions.“

“A real gem of a family-run convenience store, just off the busy Gosforth High Street. Beer shelves at the back of the shop, great range of the best in UK bottled beers and an up and coming selection of European and US brews. The lads who run it are really keen and are looking to expand the range. Well worth a visit.“
