58 /100 Railway Inn (Bar) 11 SHAW HALL BANK ROAD Slightly worn looking but accommodating traditional pub directly opposite the Greenfield railway station. There's two entrances with the bar central and immediately upon you whichever way you enter. This is part of the Rail Ale tour across the Pennines mainline and has approaching a dozen hand pumps, although every single one was a regular from a local or regional microbrewer, so there was nothing I hadn't seen before. Expect large groups to suddenly appear shortly after the train arrives at the weekend. |
62 /100 Railway Inn (Bar) 11 SHAW HALL BANK ROAD Visited on a Thursday afternoon. A small amount of parking outside, but very close to the train station. Mainly a cask led pub, with an old school locals feel. Friendly staff and dog friendly. |
54 /100 Railway Inn (Bar) 11 SHAW HALL BANK ROAD 6-8 casks. A bit worn local pub with a few locals hanging on our visit. We had 3 casks that were in questionable shape. Not a highlight for sure. Amazing spot from the outside looking in. |
48 /100 Railway Inn (Bar) 11 SHAW HALL BANK ROAD Handy for its proximity to the station traditional pub a lot of the cadk stuff had run out which was a shame but what was available was good |
