Definitely not a standard Belgium beer hall. Almost no crates here, but a lot of bottles. Very nice international beer corner with top beers from USA and Great Brittain for example. (Cigar City, Caldera, Siren, Buxton, Thornbrige Hall and others) Great Geuze, Kriek and Faro selection including most Faro beers I have ever seen in one shop, De Troch and Cantillon. Friendly staff, good prices. Parking in front of the shop. Definitely worth a visit.“ |

Biggest selection of Belgian beer I’ve ever encountered in a shop, and quite some international stuff as well (though it seems like nothing compared to the selection of Belgian stuff). Visited on a hangover from Quintessence. I can recommend the bakery across the street and compliment the friendly people at the beer shop for letting me use the toilet. Friendly place, friendly priced lambics. Massive amount of ticks. If I ever intend to drink all Belgian beers I’ll definitely come back here.“ |

I think the reason I’d never heard of it until now is because people are keeping it a secret. Beer range of Belgian beers is as good as it gets and prices are the lowest I’ve ever come across. Boon VAT 79 about 6.50 euros, Lindemans/Mikkeller Spontanbasil about 10 euros. Picked up some hard to find stuff. Prices are slightly cheaper than my other favorite Dranken Geers, near Gent, but DG has more stock. It’s probably a tie for best beer shop in Belgium in my opinion. Either way a fantastic store.“ |

They have a few foreign beers too now (Mikkeller and the like) but this remains first and foremost a place for the Belgian micro brewery afficionados. The lady behind the counter offers you a lager from tap (Martens Pils or something of the kind) while you wait for your order being settled. Certainly deserves its place among the five best Belgian bottle shops. Has an efficient online service nowadays as well, which saves me the trip. Classic.“ |

When in Belgium I go here first, so I get the beers I want at the best prices. Selection is huge with a heavy focus on Belgian beer. I try to find as many beers on my list as possible myself, and after that I hand the list over to the friendly staff, who help me get the rest of the list done. They know where everything is. After you have stocked up here, you can visit some of the more expensive shops, that have a different selection, but go here first.“ |

The prices are very cheap, the service is also quite good, friendly people that are definitely open to foreigners. Definitely worth a stop for a traveller that wants to stock up who is in the area. You’ll do it well, and do it for cheap.“ |

New stuff popping up all of the time, sometimes from breweries I have never even heard of. It seems hard for me to believe that they won’t have plenty of stuff that you have never had or seen before. If you like Belgian beers this is really the place to be. Accesibly by both a very beautiful bike-ride coming from Antwerp city or by an express bus that goes once an hour. More frequent busses are also available, they take longer. Busstop is very nearby. Been here twice so far and every time I am astonished by how small this is considering what they have. This is very much your regular liqueur store (“bierwinkel”), they seem to love bringing in new beers and what they do. This is the store for Belgian beers.“ |
