52 /100 BRAUGASSE 1 Yet another mid-sized brewery. You can try 4 taps. |
52 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 13 Medium size brewery. You can try 2 brews on tap. |
60 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 13 Didn’t visit the brewery-tap, but the brewery-shop nearby offers the whole range of the Windsheimer products. friendly service! |
58 /100 BRAUGASSE 1 Old brewery and Gasthof in the centre of that village; new brewery, modern office and brewery-shop, offering a large selection of Hofmann beers, on the southern edge of the hamlet. Good place for beer-hunters! |
22 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 13 The thing about the Windsheimer brewery is its beer. It’s not very interested in the tavern business, doesn’t work hard at it and, basically, stays open only for the sake of the locals. The only exception is in July, when the annual Kirchweih (church dedication festival) takes place. That’s when the Windsheimer’s cook and the place comes alive. For one long weekend, all of the above ratings jump up to 1 for 5-day festival weekend. |
46 /100 HAUPTSTRASSE 13 Old fashioned brewpub with beer bottled in old fashioned swing top bottles. Grumpy service and beer sold in bottles to take away for the tap beer price. Still not too expensive by Dutch standards but unusual. |
