74 /100 140 ASPINALL AVE Feels like a standard brewpub feel. Basic, but perfectly acceptable. Staff were super friendly. Food truck in the evenings outside. They serve sandwiches for lunch in their kitchen for lunch. I was a touch disappointed that they only had six beers on tap, but they said they usually have 8-9 beers on tap. Quality was decent, but without being outstanding. Crowler fills available. Ultimately its the best thing on the island hands down - though I didn't try any other breweries so that sounds a bit ridiculous, but I trust other RBers opinions. Seems to be popular and parking might be a bit tricky. Family friendly. |
82 /100 140 ASPINALL AVE If you remember the previous brewery that was here and think this is just a new owner doing the same thing, you'd be mistaken. A complete rebuild of the interior space went along with the new owners and new brewery that isn't anything like the old. It has the classic small brewpub feel to it- the same vibe you'll find at countless brewpubs around the states. That isn't a knock, it's a welcome atmosphere out here in Guam. It can get fairly busy on the weekends and is usually doing fairly brisk business but I've never had a hard time finding seating. The owners and barkeepers are friendly and quick with your beers. Food trucks most days and they're working on getting their sausage kitchen set up and running. Easily the best place to pull up a stool and down a quality beer on the island. |
