38 /100 John Harvards Brewhouse - Jiminy Peak (Restaurant) 37 COREY ROAD Poor service, bad beer, good food but way over priced |
58 /100 John Harvards Brewhouse - Jiminy Peak (Restaurant) 37 COREY ROAD Stopped here today for dinner. This is a seriously scaled back version of John Harvards as compared to their other locations. The location itself is on the 3rd floor of a hotel/ski lodge. They have 6 year around beers plus 2 rotating seasonals. No cask beer. No growler sales at this location. The food is also more pricey than I’ve seen at other John Harvards locations. |
34 /100 John Harvards Brewhouse - Jiminy Peak (Restaurant) 37 COREY ROAD Ugh! Over priced ski area shlock! |
60 /100 John Harvards Brewhouse - Jiminy Peak (Restaurant) 37 COREY ROAD An ok place. The place has a rustic feel, with an old wooden cart or stagecoach suspended up in the high ceiling. The brass-coated bar is pretty cool and gives it a nice touch, however the giant wooden Climax Candy Company sign above the door is weird. Service here is hit or miss. I’ve either gotten stunningly awesome service, or terrible service, but luckily it’s teetered more towards the awesome side, but it really depends on how busy they are. The food is average, with a limited lunch menu, but the dinner menu is a lot larger and the food seems to be better then. As for their beers, they’re average with not a lot of new selection and fun new beers that you’d see with other brewpubs. Actually, they don’t brew the beer on property, they truck it in from a different location. If you’re in the Hancock area skiing, it’s good. No more, no less. |
