“Decent selection for an online supermarket, I found a few new ones to try, prices are decent and delivery of course works super well.“

“Usually have Tesco deliver each week and always have a quick gander for new beers. Usually dissapointed. This week the Mrs said she was giving ocado a go and to see if there was any beers I wanted to add. She won't make that mistake again the bill went up 60 notes and I've got a new stash to work through. Up there with booths in terms of choice.“

“Last week, my wife said to me, ’Leighton, we need to fill out our Ocado order to get the free shipping’. Fine, I thought. This was our first time using Ocado. My hopes weren’t too high, but I ended up finding about 40 new beers. To be fair, they aren’t super high quality beers - many come from the UK regional/macro genre. But still, some are pretty decent beers, and Ocado’s prices are good; most of the beers were under £3, and some qualified for discounts (3 for £5 kind of thing). The website itself is easy to use. The delivery man was good and had a sense of humour. He said he had never seen an order like ours; our order consisted of three bags of firewood, oven cleaner, olive oil, and 42 beers. I will certainly consider adding beers to Ocado orders in the future.“

“Visited on 17th February 2017. Back street local boozer around 5 mins from Hatfield station. Nice old place, looks a little run down on the outside, interior is a large single room at the front, bar in the centre and a nice interior with a sectioned off little area with a real fire. Beer range wasn’t too spectacular with 3 regulars including Black Sheep and JHB plus a couple of guests. I opted for Hanlon’s Yellowhammer which was well kept, prices good and service quick. Not sure I’d rush back but a nice local boozer.“

“Probably the best online supermarket in the UK, always has a fantastic range of food and drink compared to standard supermarkets.
Beer selection is decent with around 300-400 items (including multipacks), this includes a lot of your typical UK stuff, particularly lagers and bitters, but there’s also a good range of foreign or otherwise "obscure" beers too - Viru, Einstok, Tripel Karmeliet, Meantime - to name a few I got there that I hadn’t seen in other supermarkets. Also a good selection of cider.
Value is no better than any other supermarket, and pricing similar to the various craft beer shops, but with one advantage being if you’re already getting your food there you don’t have an additional delivery fee. Sometimes has offers on various beers and ciders which is nice.
Service cannot be faulted, any staff I’ve spoken to have always been friendly, helpful, pleasant.“

“As far as online supermarkets go, Ocado will normally have a good selection. I got my Einstok and Gotlands beers from here, so they are pretty good for non-UK rates. Not cheaper than the big craft beer shops (Ales by Mail, Beautiful Beers, Beers of Europe, etc) and with less of a selection but also without an extra delivery charge if you’re ordering your food from Ocado anyway. There is a core selection - offering a lot of supermarket bitters - but there are changes to the more interesting beers now and again.“
