66 /100 Laurie Arms (Bar) 11-13 MAIN STREET Cracking pub in a village between Dumfries and Castle Douglas (but closer to the latter). Three real ales, a real fire, and real conversation. Sounds hackneyed? A bit, but this is the things that dreams are made of. While it can’t compete with town pubs on selection, the beers are well chosen, in perfect condition, and Scottish to the core. Schiehallion on keg as well. Worth a stop! |
