| 70 /100 INNING 34 “I was on my way from Melk to St. Pölten (not on the highway) and noticed the sign for the restaurant (remembering that there is a beer with the same name in the village). So I called the place and asked if they have said beers ... Turns out the owner is brother of the brewer and sells bottles (no taps) at his restaurant. You can drink both on site or for take away. They had 4 different bottles, all are 2,5 (includes 50 cents deposit) for take away. The restaurant is big and was quite busy when I got there (Saturday afternoon on a very hot summer day). I could not find any opening hours online, so I suggest just calling. The place is family run, and it looks like family lives on site, so they might even sell you bottles when they are closed. The place is really close to the highway (like max 5 mins from exit "Loosdorf"). But its probably almost impossible to get here without a car. Probably if I had more time (and had been hungry) I would have been very interested to eat here. Overall worth it for the ticks.“ |
