“Still the only mainstay to drink beer in a semi non-scuzzy environment in Iqaluit. It has a longstanding reputation of being a little bit dodgy, with plenty of folks coming in just to drink their faces off and look for trouble. Cans of mostly macros are usually on offer but they do get craft beers here and there, and I'd also expect this to be the go-to spot for the upcoming locally brewed craft beer. Food is average, though Wednesday wing nights are a famous local institution (primarily because they're cheap that night). Everything is expensive. But up here there's no other choice. Just don't go too late in the evening to avoid the troublemakers.“

“It was a big deal when this place opened - they sold out their beer stock for 3 months in 48 hours. Try not to stand in line outside because it's probably bloody cold. Inside the TV screens show what's on offer and you have to order at the counter for take away. Opening an account is mandatory even if you're from out of town, and there's a fee for that. Beer selection is standard macro with a few common craft beers thrown in like Parrallel 49's Jerkface 9000. Prices are.... well, you'll pay whatever they charge you, really. This is an old-school approach to beer sales that will probably seem very out of place to our craft beer inundated sensibilities from the south but it's the only place in town to get any kind of beer outside of the few restaurants.“
