“Tiny place that feels like a shed with a few tables. They only had 4 beers, and charged an absolutely exorbitant $6-7 for a 7 oz taster of any of them -- highway robbery. Perhaps worse, they served them in plastic cups; I can't imagine the brewers thing their beers are well-showcased in such shitty glassware. The IPA I tried was fine, and the pils and two kettle sours were forgettable. Given the prices and glassware, I cannot recommend this place. I wasn't impressed with the experience.“

“I probably had the quickest brewery stop ever - wife and infant waiting in the car. Staff were super friendly and insisted I have a free 5 ounce sample of their imperial stout while they poured me a crowler. Prices were on the high side ($15 crowlers), but quality of beer is the best in HI. Very simple place and even if I had time can't say I would want to hang around too much. There is free parking in the parking lot in front of the brewery, but I was really surprised, given the location, how densely packed the neighborhood is and we initially tried to find street parking, but mid-day on a Thursday there was none within two blocks. Definitely worth a stop and double up with a trip to Lanikai brewery“

“This place is making the best beer on Oahu at the moment. They might be making the best beer in Hawaii, but since I haven't visited every Hawaii brewery yet, I will have to update this rating once I do. It's a tiny place in the old Stewbum and Stonewall facility and head brewer Kyle utilizes the existing two barrel system plus some new fermenters, and he is getting some wine barrels in next week that he will fill and store upstairs. The tasting room is just a small six stool bar at the front of the brewery, open to the parking lot, but Kyle et al and working on a build out and plan the grand opening in January. In the meantime Kyle is pouring incredibly generous five ounce pours of their current beers (five when I visited). He received a crowler machine yesterday that should be up and running soon, but will fill any growler. The have a canning line, but their first run canned beer sold out in an hour at Village Bottle shop. No food, just good beer, great conversation about beer, and a steady stream of locals and visitors all day long. This place will be a game changer in Hawaii.“
