70 /100 AUERBACHER STRASSE 14 small gasthof a bit up off the street. didn’t even look open when we stopped, but as we walked up could see dim lights inside and chatter. a small and typically-decorated first floor room with locals having a half liter of pils, helles and dunkel. an upstairs area seemed to be where people were eating. all three beers were quite nice, if basic. the dunkel was wonderfully toasty and the carbonation on all was very soft. worthy of a stop if traveling through the area; the beer is fresh, subtle, traditional and well-made. |
