“Very worthy of a stop between Prague and anywhere east. Service was very friendly and patient with my very little knowledge of Czech. Place was very cool and interesting to look around. Food was good. Beers were standouts for their respective styles and for the region. Would love to stop by again.“

“Faboulus place, where Vykulení(Sept) and the sister festival Vysmolení(May) is arranged.We started off in the tap room with a light lunch and some good beers, where Černá svině 13° was a very good find. Nice decorated with a lot of old brewery equipment and a modern woodstove, well wort a detour to visit this place. Even more next year when the former brewery should be completely restored, included wood fired boiler.“

“Max Bahnson A.K.A. Pivní Filosof arranged a beer trip for us to Kostelec and Kounice. From Haje we took the bus to Kostelec and it’s just a short walk down to Cernokostelecký zájezdní pivovár. We had lunch and two beers, Arnošt 10° and Cerné svine 13°. Both great, but the dark beer was amazing! After a chat by the table, the owner showed us the whole place, told us about the history within the old brewery walls and their plan for the brewery they are restoring. He spoke Czech and Max translated to English. Currently they just have a small microbrewery, but things are about to change. A great VIP-tour! He even drove us to Kounice. Thanks!
