76 /100 DORFSTRASSE 10 Visited .7.10.17. Village restaurant that caters to locals and hikers alike - there were plenty of the latter when we arrive on Saturday during lunchtime. Food was very vegetarian Unfriendly. 2 beers on tap, both were decent. Nothing innovative, but that's not what we were looking for. |
50 /100 DORFSTRASSE 10 Typical Franconian small village brauerei-gastette with a wood-beamed ceiling, green stone fireplace, and Jesus Christ crucified on the wall (what’s the deal with that?). The brewer was serving guests during lunch on a Friday, pouring the Hell and Dunkles, both had poor malt expression and both were tainted by diacetyl. The food menu is very basic with no vegetarian options. |
70 /100 DORFSTRASSE 10 Light & dark - both fantastic. Absolutely loved local cusine - very good place to visit. |
72 /100 DIETZHOF 8 Village pub - in a nice half-timbered house - in the hamlet of Dietzhof; You can look forward one (or two) old cozy Gaststube with an antique tiled stove and a patio in front of the building. Good, unspoilt franconian Gasthaus, deserves a visit ! |
