“Recommended by my AirBnB host, this place is in a small complex of other buildings, including a chocolate shop. Right on the river with hiking trails nearby, plenty of parking at the restaurant and at the surrounding trailheads. The kitchen is on your left as you enter and you can watch the staff through glass - they have a wood fired grill, a wood fired pizza oven, and all the usual restaurant equipment. The restaurant itself has a long serving bar, a handful of outdoor tables, and plenty of indoor tables. Nearly full when I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, despite a power outage earlier in the day. Food menu is extensive, from gourmet burgers to pizza to traditional foods to steaks to chicken and seafood. The burger I had was creative and satisfying. Two local Maribor beers on tap, plus half a dozen on tap from Bevog, as well as some macro swill. Solid place.“
