“We only stopped here for a single beer and a snack so difficult for me to provide a full assessment. However, I can say this is a really interesting venue set in the rambling garden of the adjacent White House. It has some indoor seating but most is outside on verandas, between trees, under eaves and in among the flowers. There is lots of art work hanging on the walls, statues and sculptures in the garden, all of which give it a really interesting vibe. On the beer front, they have some home-made beers (not sure if made there or somewhere else in Loja) which for us included a Blonde and a Red Ale. They were both decent, especially the Red. Our Nachos were also very good. Overall, I don’t think its a place to visit for a long beer drinking session but certainly worthy of a visit to check out the art and garden, and why not have a beer while there!“

“Zarza is a nice venue in a suburban area north of the Loja centre. It has a brewery on site and a range of good quality brews rotating across the 6-7 taps. We tried 4 between us and all were excellent. The food menu is Tex-Mex, Burgers and Pizzas. We tried the Tex-Mex and it was decent. We visited on a Monday evening so it was very quiet but the service was excellent and overall vibe of the place good. Definitely worth seeking out if in Loja.“
