“Nice place right in the port near the ferry to Anguilla. Relatively quiet during my December visit, more locals than tourists. Large selection of French wines but I stuck to the local beers. Solid place.“

“So I must write a horror story here. Whilst drinking a local beer a bunch of Americans jumbles up to the bar, and one of them inauspiciously shouts, "I'll have a Corona!" Indeed, I watched a gaggle of Americans drink bottles of Corona in a French wine bar... if there is a greater horror in this world, I do not know of it. And I wonder - do these venues notice that when a gang of loud Americans show up, everyone else leaves? Nonetheless this place ended up being excellent for beer hunting as they had all three Saint Martin beers in bottles available for five euros apiece, proper glassware included. A separate wine enclave was open where one could discuss and sample the French wines available. English and French were widely spoken amongst the staff. This is pretty much a mandatory stop to try the 3 beers exclusive to the French side of the island... Americans notwithstanding.“
