74 /100 EBERSBERGER STR. 25 We visited here Saturday 30th October 2021. I have to say I was a little disappointed with the town, however, the brewery lifted our spirits. It is a reasonable sized brewery with a taphouse/restaurant at the front and also a very small Biergarten to the front. It is located on the one of the main roads in town and as such is pretty easy to find, I understand that the S-Bahn extends to here and beyond so it is also accessible from Muenchen. The main restaurant/bar area displays both modern and old artefacts, parts of old brewing equipment sitb within a very open-plan area.
It was fairly quiet when we visited with just a few other tables occupied. We had a very nice pumpkin soup and one beer each, though I didn't drink a full beer as I was driving. As I recall most of the core range was available along with seasonal offering(s), I picked up a 750ml bottle of Somnium which is a Doppelbock and highly regarded, however by German standards quite expensive. We liked the brewery, it is worth popping in if you are close by. The service was pretty swift and the ambience was nice. |
70 /100 EBERSBERGER STR. 25 Quite big brewpub in a small town not to far from Munich. 5 beers on tap, Classic german styles, Helles, dunkel, Keller, Weiss and a dunkel Weiss. Not to impressed by the Weiss’ but the other 3 was fine and the Helles great. Had 5 10 cl samples for a dyrt cheap 3,80 euro. Didnt eat, but good looked tempting. Worth the detour. |
