76 /100 Beer Shop Nesebar (Beer Store) IVAN ALEKSANDAR 1 Tiny little corner shop in the old town of Nesebar, basically by a playground. Extremely laid back owner. No idea about the opening times, but given the location it would surprise me if it wasn't a seasonal enterprise, opening for the touristy Summer months. It carries about 70-ish bottles, on one hand imports that you could get also in other, bigger shops (though you should support small enterprises like this one), on the other hand Bulgarian craft beers I haven't seen anywhere else in the Burgas area - Glarus and Hills breweries mostly. There were also I think 4 beers on tap, one of which was from the only restaurant brewery in Bourgas. It was a find by chance but I was really happy that I managed to acquire some local craft brews in a touristy place like Stari Grad in Nesebar. |
64 /100 Janet (Grocery Store) КОКАЛУ Huge grocery store that happens to carry perhaps the most extensive beer selection in the Sunny Beach area. Apart from Stolichno no interesting local brews, but a neat international selection in a huge fridge (Carlow, Sierra Nevada, Fuller's, Vitus etc.) for very good prices. I used to stock up here regularly on my vacation. |
