“Friendly lounge bar, service excellent from the man I assumed to be the landlord. Three cask ales from Swanay, Fyne and another Perthshire beer, the one I had was in excellent condition. A few bottles and couple of other kegs. The bar itself was a bit outdated and found food to be a bit pricey but if you lived in Oldmeldrum it would be a decent local but not really worth venturing out to. Small beer garden which would be good on a nice day if you could get a seat outside.“

“The Regarth is IMO the best watering hole in Oldmeldrum. As previously mentioned it is a hotel lounge bar, which is located a few minutes walk from the village square. Has a nice traditional Scottish vibe about it. They offer 3 well-kept cask ales, which on our visit were from Fyne Ales and Swannay. Keg-wise they have BrewDog and West. We also had lunch here - I can reccommend the Cullen Skink. Good condition and great service make this a quality local haunt.“

“Hotel lounge bar with wonderfully kept cask ale and superb service. Not the world’s most exciting range, but quality counts for most. Landlord was the first winner of Camra;s national pub of the year competition.“
