“Stopped here on a Thursday afternoon. Place is pretty nice, with batik decor, asian feel, long and narrow with patio in back with serving lines ( not sure if this is good for the beers). Service was attentive. Menu is western food (burger, bbq) as well as some thai. Flight of 4 beers for 250 baht. Beers were well made if nothing special. BTW, can only used credit card above 500 baht.“

“Best beerbar in the heart of Phuket Town. Good selection for thai standards. Happy hour from 5 til 9 and some special offers make this place affordable.“

“A year or 2 ago this place was vaguely interesting as it had some Rogue and Deschutes on the list. But now just macro rubbish plus a few offerings from Full Moon (which barely counts as you can get that gear all over the island). Cafe is good however.“

“Arghhhh.....they stole my idea! Coffee and craft beer! Ok this place couldn't be more inner city Melbourne if they tried. Cool old school warehouse. Really done well and maybe more stylish than anywhere else in Phuket Town. But....as a craft beer venue I need to much more measured. A very small bottled / canned range of 15 20 lines, some of which are genuinely hard to find around the traps. Food near non existent...a handful of muffins and cakes is well below par. Get this sorted and the place will be fantastic as a cafe first and foremost.“

“Update Jan 2019
Have lost my enthusiasm. Bottle list runs deep, on paper, but typically many stock-outs. Taps don't change much and I suspect tied (Hoeggy, Stella, Vedette, Leffe). Only recent addition seems to be Little Creatures PA. Pricing higher than normal for Phuket. Has mainstream appeal but beer nerd will be left wanting.

Original Review - The craft beer explosion seemingly knows no bounds!!. Ultra mod bar in the centre of Phuket Town with a tap and beer list that would be considered at least ’good’ in many parts of the world. Friendly service if a little uncertain. 13 taps including Brewdog Punk IPA 330ml (250 thb), La Chouffe 500ml (330thb), Budvar Dark 250ml (170thb) and perhaps 100 bottles (Evil Twin, Coedo, Rogue etc). Pricing not great but seems about right for area. I hope it succeeds. Update Sept 2016: still going strong. Taps seem set (tied?) but the bottle list is considerably strong with deep selections from the likes of Brewdog and Evil Twin, indeed in patches this list is close to ’best in breed’. Glad it is finding a market albeit not a bar for the geek purist.“

“Update: as per Lubiere's comment.....taps gone and beer range would down significantly. Now a nice little cafe but no longer a craft menu. Shame.

Dec 2017: Wonderfully cute and warm ramshackle, tiny, and decked out with a shabby chic look that you might find in Melbourne or Amsterdam. 2 craft taps and I tried the stone ghost hammer IPA (280 Baht pint) on my visit. Breakfast options look very appealing and of course some focus on coffee. Beer almost seems like a sideline but given the bottle range and effort to provide 2 taps they clearly give a shit. Super calm and comfortable place to have a coffee, some afternoon cake and then a beer About 50 bottles on the list. Decent kit from Stone, Anderson, Rogue, Tatura, Deschutes i.e. the Beer Nirvana distributed stuff. Also a few bottles from Ayinger that I have not seen anywhere else in Phuket over the past year. Great chat with owner...she is sharp as a tack and very clearly understands the market and challenges.“

“Discovered this place looking for Thai coffee. Nice surprise. Bottles only but more than 20 Thai craft beers, of solid quality. Prices are in the 150 to 200 baht range. Knowledgeable service from a beer aficionado and barista. Recommended.“

“I wished I could have given this place a good rating. But there is very little beer left, maybe less than 10 bottles of craft Thai beer, that's it. 2 taps of crap (Tiger and Cheers Riceberry).. Food menu looked interesting.. This is more of a coffee place... Still cute and quaint.“

“Good move this. Pint Factory have opened a second site in the form of a ‘pop-up’ bar in the up-market Central Festival. Well…not really pop-up as it does indeed possess quite a sturdy structure but Is located in the ‘outdoors’ restaurant court area. 4 probably tied taps (Stella. Hoegaarden x 2, Leffe) priced at just under 300 baht for a 500ml serve which is about typical for Phuket. About 50 bottles on the list but impressively near half is devoted to is genuine Thai craft (or at least ‘craft’ in the Thai context). Glad they did this as few local bars are this brave but in reality it’s a great way to target the tourist dominant market at Central Festival. Baird the pick of the non-Thai range. Food available (mixed range of appetisers and a few global classics) but I did not try. Complimentary beer nuts – thanks! Service ok but of course I wouldn’t be asking for guidance on the beers (& this can be directed to most of Phuket so nothing personal). “

“This place is never crowded, the food is always good, the service is mediocre, but they’ve got a selection of imported beers at the best price in Phuket Town. Chalawan IPA is highly recommended if you like IPA beers and it’s only 140 baht for a bottle. They have Phuket Lager and Hoegarrden as well as some others“

“Easily sets the benchmark for both craft beer range and venue quality in Phuket (although granted competition is low). Wonderful modern fit-out that effortlessly transports me to Melbourne or New York. 8 taps with genuine class (Stone Delicious 260 baht, Arrogant BA 310 baht, Deschutes Pinedrops 260 baht) and high quality glassware. About 100 bottles inc names (Lervig, Evil Twin) that only a year ago would have been completely unobtainable. Friendly service complete with complimentary beer nuts. This will be a regular for me.“

“I wouldn’t ordinarily have created an entry for a place like this but (1) awesome roof top bar and (2) a very respectable Belgian bottle list. And let’s not forget Phuket is not exactly quality beer capital of the world! Great central location and large roof top space. Good selection of Belgian classics although priced as expected at 250thb to 300thb. Glad I went but not a place that needs too many return visits.“

“Surprisingly wide array of beers in this cozy small cafe in a cozy small city in Thailand. Excellent service by the lovely owner. Price was very reasonable and I even got a discount in a beer that had expired only a few weeks ago. Much better than the selection of the best-rate place in the town.“

“An oasis of craft beer in Phuket, good range, amazing service and excellent food. A bit pricey but you expect that with all the beers being imported, food is cheap. Well worth a visit.“

“A small cafe in Phuket Old Town, (on the night market street) the food is amazing, they only have a very limited range of craft beers but that is still an oasis in Thailand. Well worth a look.“
