“Another off the beaten path general store that has a good selection of beer and some other liquor (that’s the Vermont way, I’m learning to say: "that’s how we do things around here"). They do build-your-own six packs here. Good service, quick and friendly. Pretty clean little place. Vermonster for $3!??!? Whoah, never seen that before. Usually goes for closer to $6 in Northern Vermont. Not a bad stop if you’re strolling through.“

“Visited on a late afternoon. This place is out of the way a bit, but if you are just exploring southern Vermont, you might as well pop in to check it out. It’s a general store, so they have a little bit of everything. There is a small place to eat in one corner, touristy trinkets in another, local beer, wine, and liquor along the left wall and down a winding staircase toward the back into the basement. They have these really cool, old style coolers with wooden doors. Super cool. They allow build your own six packs, but the selection there is a bit limited. The best part is their large format bottles and growler station, which is in the basement. Service was friendly and helpful here. Prices on everything was pretty good. They are far enough removed from the tourist hot spots, that they don’t gouge for the good stuff. That was nice. Definitely stop in if you are close by. It’s worth your while.“
