“Situated in a retail park, hidden somewhat in the far corner of a large sports bar full of TV screens. We got there late afternoon, mid-week, after a day of sightseeing in Plymouth and the Patuxet museum. No-one else here. Strange choice of location within a sports bar, which you have to walk through. Small box room with a view into High Limb's production area. We were offered a tour but we just wanted to sit down for a bit. Flights of any 4 cider offered, with around 12-14 ciders on tap, including a couple of limited editions such as one made with tree sap and maple syrup for Arbor Day. Generous samples offered. A good range of cans and bottles in the fridge, including all their 75cl 10% limited editions. Some nice looking merch. Really friendly guy serving, and considering he wasn't even old enough to drink, he knew every detail about each cider both in the fridge and on tap. Really liked the feel about this place, independent, forward-thinking with an eye on flavourful, natural fruit and additions.“

“Random find as found myself right next to place. Shares building with Dirty Water Distillery. not serving at moment due to food rules per COVID, but normal looking repurposed building in decent spot to get traffic. Had 4 of their beers to go and mix allowed so tried them all. decent enough but nothing special. anyways if doing a fmily historical day good place to grab some rates.“

“Stopped in during our Mass trip. Not a big area, limited seating, but have a couple of tables outside for the overflow crowd. Parking is kind of tough, had to walk a couple of blocks. They had several beers on tap, all theirs. Got talking with one of the owners, really friendly and offered a few choices since we didn't have a lot of time to spend there. All were solid, hope they can grow and expand and get a little parking nearby.“

“Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, had some open house party going on. Not a lot of parking and the inside area was really crowded. Was tough to get to the bar, but was able to try a couple of beers a guy near the bar had. Have to visit them the next time we are in town, maybe won't be as crowded.“

“Small taproom and brewery located just off Route 3. Decent selection. Good prices and great, great service. Very friendly staff. They also have a homebrew shop on the other end of the building. Don’t forget the bakery next door!“

“Very nice place tucked away in an industrial park. Went on a Friday afternoon expecting to have the place pretty much to myself, and found a packed bar, with most people well-known by staff, everyone welcoming. Well-informed staff willing to deal with an inquisitive and choosy customer. Nice growler club, $100 gets a growler, a glass, and 8 growler refills. I’ve been a fan of their beers, although hard to find on Cape Cod despite only being 20 minutes away. Very nice visit.“

“ Went here on a weekend with Live music which is apparently every weekend. Specifically called and asked if they had a high chair for our little one. When we arrived (Bobby) the bouncer looked at us with two kids and said "It’s going to be a while". Now I don’t usually look much into this, but I could tell that this guy wanted nothing to do with kids. Long story short, this is definitely not a kid friendly place. We did put our name in and grabbed drinks from the bar. We only had one couple in front of us so it wasn’t a big deal. Actually it was. If you go here on the weekend and the place is full, don’t bother waiting for a table. Tons of people plop themselves at a table and just order drinks to listen to the music. Which I get, I’ve been there. But you have an entire back room dedicated for music, why not put the band and the people back there so people can get tables and order food? So after 30 minutes, I strolled around to the back area and noticed a table that was open. I went back to Bobby, he said it was "reserved". Now when I had called earlier, they don’t take call ahead or reservations. I shrugged and we continued to wait. I then had to use the facilities and noticed that people were now sitting at the table. Considering we were next, I decided to ask him what happened. He stated some people just grabbed drinks and decided to sit down but agreed to leave in a hour when the party showed up. Really? So lesson learned (not that I will be back) it’s a free for all with the tables don’t bother putting your name in. Constructively, the do have an extensive draft list. The sad part it isn’t that good. More crap on tap, than good beer. I was hard pressed to find a decent IPA at the place. Their taplister was out of date as well. I don’t expect it to be perfect but when there are 5 beers on there that according to the bartender have been kicked "days ago" you are wasting my time. I digress back to the menu and beer. The beer menu has gone downhill. It used to have some good rarities but the crap that was on tap this weekend is becoming the new normal. I don’t know what happened but it’s time to rethink your concept. We ordered the wings, the cheese board, and the chowder. The wings were cold by the time we got them. I couldn’t get the server to come back to even ask how things were. When I said they were cold, she shrugged, and removed them. Best thing, they still charged us for them. The cheese and meat plate is 21$, now I’m not expecting an entire block of cheese, but this was a joke. The cheese was decent but a few slices of meat and cheese for 21$? I’ve been to numerous places that have a cheese plate for half that and it’s loaded with good meat and cheese. Finally, the chowder, now I mean who screws up chowder right? Well it tasted like someone dumped the entire salt shaker in there. I couldn’t get past it. Once again the waitress took no note and didn’t bother to ask. Long story short, there are better options out there. Especially in Plymouth. “

“Superb place. I shaved a couple.of points for service, because they usually just have one bartender. Very friendly and knowledgeable, but they need more help sometime. The cask selections are often very special. Was there recently for Founder’s tap takeover...10 taps and it was a ball. Do not leave without trying the chowder. “

“Nice place right in the center of Plymouth (Note: the google map is off by about 2 blocks). Visited on a Saturday evening. Live music was on. A good sized bar on one side and a row of booths on the other, with a bunch of high tops in the middle. Server was knowledgeable and very helpful. Selection was good and prices were reasonable ($6 avg pint). Surprisingly light on the IPA selection, unlike most places these days. Good selection of bottles too. They had one cask too. Food menu is basic pub food - mostly sandwiches. Pretty good overall.“

“A little brewery located in an industrial park in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts. Has a small open area where you can sample the current brews and purchase beers(including growlers). Had a pleasant and informative tour even though I was the only one on a quiet Saturday morning. Worth the trip if you want to see a small hometown microbrewery. I also love their brews very much!“

“last review i saw from pioppis was from 2008 just went there recently and the craft selection was great. They had all the local favorites like clown shoes and slum brew but also hard to find offerings too like alesmith speedway and dogfish limited releases and the beer manager is always looking for the beers he can find“

“Quite a few of their own beers at a free tasting from 4-6, great crowd of locals stoppoing in to fill growler. I bought a nice glass at a reasonable price. got all the samples I wanted and much advice from locals eager to help us get around.“

“Went here on Plymouth beer day. Cool location in Plymouth Center, just far enough away from the rock and Mayflower to be accessible. Great selection and knowledgeable staff. Food is good but a little on the pricey side. All in all a really good place. I’ll be back.“

“A tiny bar off the main strip in downtown Plymouth. Crowded Saturday night crowd. Bartender came over quickly and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Selection was top-notch. No food served here, unlike the other BBC locations. I settled for a Boulevard Rye on Rye. It was supposed to be 12 oz, but came in in a tulip glass, long pour. Very nice stuff. A great little place to check out after you have dinner someplace else.“

“A small place in the heart of downtown Plymouth. Waitress was very friendly and the service was good. Food was a bit pricy, but tasty. Beer selection is very good also, but not too varied. I started with a Geary’s Oak Infused HSA, on cask. Had fried oysters appetizer and a special ham and swiss pizza - very tasty. Second beer was a Bitter American. This place got loud and crowded soon after we got there. I hope they have expansion plans.“

“This place is awesome! They have a fantastic line-up. The draft selection is well thought out and balanced. A few locals, a few session, a few ’big’ beers with a scattering of limited offerings. Food is well made and follows the theme of their draft-well tought out. Pricing was spot on to cheap. This place gives Plymouth Center another fantastic craft beer bar and more reason to spend time in Plymouth. A must try!“

“A. Great. Comfortable place. Sharp clean and not too bright. Staff is friendly. Owners are very enthusiastic. Pumped to have this place on the South Shore. Q.Proper glassware. Enough said. Good bottle selection. S.Attentive. Knowledgeable. Accurate. S.32 taps 50+ bottles. Bottles I have ordered have been fresh. Draft lines are new so obviously clean. I believe they will stay that way. F. Great selection, reminds me of the Publick House. Enjoyed mostly the apps so far. Quality and care is evident. V.Not cheap, not over priced. What I expect for my money. A must try. “

“Doesnt look like much from the outside, located in an industrial park in plymouth. Inside is a nice tasting room with a bar at the far left end of the room. The rest of the place is filled with merchandise and quasi brewery related paraphenalia. Girl behind the bar was fairly knowledgable, and was willing to open a 2009 Audacity of hops ale if I shared it with her. Free samples of current beers, according to the bartender, sometimes some rarities on tap. A nice place, but not made for all day tasting.“

“Visited on a recent visit to the Cape. This is a typical MA liquor store with the exception that they’ve moved the beer to the side rather than relegate to the back of the store. Friendly and helpful service. All major brewers available in MA are represented (although not all product lines). While I didn’t find any rarities, I was able to stock up for a weekend tasting party. Prices are typical for MA - perhaps a little high given the distance from Boston. While not a destination store, it is definitely one to visit if you are in staying in the area or just passing through.“

“Located in an industrial zone in western Plymouth, it is worth the trip. Tastings were pleasant- pourer well informed. Brewmaster’s tour was delightful- this is a brewery dedicated to producing high quality brews. Had to buy a T to remind me of the experience. Go- you will be glad you did.“

“Visited on a recent trip to Boston and Cape Cod. Some real finds here if you are not from the area (like us). Decent selection of DFH, Weyerbacher, Mayflower, Lakefront, and other american craft brewers with a decent albeit small selection of Belgian beers as well (Leffe, Hoegaarden, Chimay Red and Blue and a few others). Probably not worth a pilgrimage to arrive here, but we stocked up on a few beers on the way to Cape Cod definitely worth the stop.“

“Just visited on a recent Thursday afternoon. For such a small place without any type of food service for lunch or dinner, this place had a very nice selection of taps (about 25) and bottles (not sure how many, but more than 25). Draught beers consisted of DFH (60 minute IPA with 90 and 120 min in the bottle), Bass, Fullers, Mayflower, Avery, Hebrew, Monks Cafe, Delirium Tremens, and some others. Bartender talked beer with me for a while and suggested that this BBC has the most liberty with their beer selection and is trying out some new things in this location. Prices seemed fair and the selection was good. Worth a stop when you are in the area. “

“Not a bad place. Fairly small, empty on a weekday afternoon. Looks like they had a cask getting set up, but it wasn’t available yet. Fair selection, decent pub atmosphere. Not entirely bad for going there somewhat by accident“

“This is the restaurant counterpart to the Pub in Plymouth. The place is bigger and allows children, with the same feel as the other place. But, it’s bigger, not as quaint, has children and the same selection. No darts. The food is cleanly done British pub fare. Our waitress was horrible.“

“This is a great British style pub! A halfway decent number of common imports on tap, as well as a few interesting locals. The best part is the atmosphere, with an awesome upstairs and a good dart board.“

“This place is okay. They have maybe two coolers of singles and it’s mostly big bottled imports and some local beers. They had a fair representation for the most part. Not really a great breadth though.“

“I was fairly dissapointed with this place. The singles selection is restricted to common mediocre selections. Sixers cannot be broken. The six pack selection has some breadth of local beers, but could be better. The service acts as though you’re not there. And, they have some homebrewing supplies.“
