Great Belgian-themed place, which would be great if I lived here. Given that I'm just trying to bomb Mexican ticks when I'm traveling through here, it isn't as good for that. They have a few Mexican bottles and had one local beer on tap when I was there that wasn't that great. Service ok. Prices fairly high for the imports, but not out of place for what other places charge in Mexico.“ |

A couple of bottles available too. Good food, I had the avocado chemita. Beers available in flights. Good service, and friendly, cool-looking space.“ |
| 70 /100 Fonda de Santa Clara (Bar) AV 3 PTE 307, CENTRO “This is a small local chain but the original is a Puebla institution and worth a trip for the food alone, especially for the Chile en nogado though the mole is excellent too. The location in the center near the zocalo has a cooler with a great selection of Mexican craft beers that you can have onsite or for buy as individual bottles to go. Was fairly pricey and there maybe better places (cheaper or bigger selection) but after a week in rural central Mexico this place was an incredible oasis of craft beer. Go for the food and grab some bottles.“ |

Puebla is short of drinking venues in general, but this is a dedicated Belgian beer bar with a few Mexican micros as well. There’s an adjoining store for takeaway, and a menu that features Belgian food. Good spot.“ |

Unfortunately, we hit it on a Monday evening and it was slow but I could imagine this place being quite fun when it is full. They play interesting music, lots of prog and old rock and jazz. The atmosphere is great, and although their focus is Belgian beer, they also have a few good mexican microbrews. It has an attached store with a good selection, and it keeps the same hours.“ |

The staff were friendly, and they had a great list. There were local breweries unknown to the world at large there, which was awesome. Worth the visit.“ |

A suburban location usually brings to mind thoughts like "soulless" and "corporate," but not so with this place. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Even in our 10 days in Mexico City, we had never encountered a broader and deeper selection of Mexican craft beer. We wished we had more time in Puebla to drink here. They take their food seriously too, and each dish is made to order from a daily fresh sheet. Prices are reasonable. Staff knows the details about each beer and brewery, and helped us select some bottles to go. Oh, and if you have time and it’s available, get a shot of the special edition unbottled extra-añejo tequila they have in plastic jugs. It is like nothing I had tried before. Puebla’s a great place to visit, even more so because Draft exists!“ |
