“Rustic smallish taproom next to an old train line and wooden trestle. Fortunately the historic station was demolished in time for its 100th anniversary, pretty sad. Anyway, long bar with lots of stools and some restaurant tables. Decent sized patio with picnic tables and partial shade suffers a bit from the dust kicked up by passing cars since it's a gravel road. Bike/walking path passes by here, but the view is mainly just of trucks. Beers were decent, nothing too exciting. Server knew them well and was friendly and helpful. Food truck present when I visited, looked permanent but I'm not sure about that.“

“The best brewery in Kansas area if you love sours (like me)! Great variety of flavours, VERY sour, not just hint of sour like most others. Easy to spend more than expected as there are SOO many to try. Excellent service, but bring your own food as nothing there or close by.“

“Kind of hard to get to, but well worth the time. Nice interior and friendly service. Would say at least a dozen of their beers on tap and a nice take out selection. All of their beers are tasty and well constructed. Enjoyable visit and will return for sure.“

“Not bad. An out of the way location, semi-industrial, but with a nice bar and interior space to have a drink. Nice collection of their own beers.“

“Stopped by the brewery recently on a trip to KC. Easy to get to, not too far off the interstate. It was a weekday afternoon. I was the only one there. Nice selection of mostly Belgian-inspired brews. Saisons and a variety of Brett / sour beers. Staff was very friendly. I grabbed two bombers to go. Prices seemed decent. These guys have a lot of potential.“

“Visited late afternoon on a Thursday. At this point, hours are a bit sporadic, though it sounds like longer and more established hours are starting next week. Located in a warehouse area, tucked down below Raytown road. Parking is in front of the brewery, or in the dirt lot in the surrounding area. The setup is very bare bones at the moment, basically a small bar and some repurposed tables set out for visitors in the front of the brewery. At the moment, they do informal tours at the top of each hour, and I was lucky enough to do one with Michael Crane. The building is pretty beat down, but the equipment is in great shape and turning out probably the best beer in the city. The selection was 7 Crane beers on draft, as well as 6 bottles available for on-site or to go. They had a regular line up, as well as specialty offerings on, including a Coffee Raisin Saison which I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Full or half tulip pours available. Crowd was locals, laid back, great vibe. They are in the process of building out a more formal tasting room, I will update notes when I visit the new setup. Loved this place.

88 = ★★★★ (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Great selection for a grocery store, working to get more craft less crap. Best place in Raytown, MO. Not much on good deals for beer but a good selection of standard imports and american craft, several big bottles, and normally a lot of craft seasonals. Not much on Belgians or specialty but dependable for being less than 2 miles away.“

“This is where I get most of my new drinks. Best in the area and probably in the top 3 liquor stores in the Kansas City Metro.“
