“Visited for dinner with a larger group on a Tuesday evening. Prior to dinner, I sampled beers at the bar, including the Flora brewed Pale Ale. Flora Farms is many things; a bar, a restaurant, a collection of shops, a brewery, and of course, the farm itself. When I visited the brewery itself was closed, though I really enjoyed just wandering around the grounds, and settling in at the bar for a bit, and the restaurant for an extended dinner. The service throughout is excellent, and the overall vibe is very chill. I consider Floral Farms a must visit in the Cabo area, though not solely due to the beer. The beer is tasty, certainly, but the real draw here is the dining. (Visitors who can make it should check it out) I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Block north of La Europea. Handmade signs otherwise usual Walmart arrangement. Some beers on a shelf and good size cooler of beers. Allende , Baja, and others were here. No bag with your purchase. Picking is reasonable. I found it worth my while. I would combine this with La Europea, which is a block south.“

“Right on the main street. Go upstairs the beer is in the back left in coolers. This place is mostly wine and liquor. You won’t get bags for your purchase. If you purchase enough you might get a box for free or you can purchase a reusable bag that are at the check-out counter. Selection during my visit was different and better than Walmart. Prices were reasonable. You should likely also go the Walmart a block north. Expect around $10 uber from the resort area.“

“What a great place, close to Baja Brewing, 12 taps of great beers from the Tijuana area, good food, had the Mexicana pizza for 130 pesos, with great taste. A must in San Jose del Cabo.“

“For the San Jose location. Very close to the plaza and away from Cabo. Nice place with a good, warm feel. All the Baja core range beers and some specialties. There was a barleywine, white IPA, and a hoppy lager while I was there. Food was pretty average and pretty expensive for what it was. Beers were pretty average overall but have to give them credit as getting things like fresh hops will be a challenge. Beers were well priced and worth having a couple a night while there.“

“Since thereis very little for beer in Cabo I thought this good to add. 10 acre outdoor farm and restaurant with own beer made on premises. I had the red and pale which are both good. Food is excellent with emphasis on their locally grown produce, pigs and chickens, highly recommended“

“The actual brewery in San Jose located about 30 minutes along the coridore from Cabo San Lucas. Great old school Baja atmosphere with several wonderful and fun groups to drink beer with. The usual Baja Brewing offerings with the Peyote being the best. Plenty of inside and outside seating. Great place.“

“Beautiful view over the mouth of the marina and the Sea of Cortez. Definitely the only place to get a craft beer. Even though most are substandard, we had a lot of fun.“

“Really the only place to go for a decent beer ini Cabo unless you enjoy Bohemia Classica (which I do). The setting atop a 6 story hotel overlooking the Sea of Cortez is fantastic. Teh Peyote Pale is worth mentioning and worked fine on the night I was there. A Mexi/jazz band played and had a decent Prime Rib meal. I needed a tortilla break. Overall a nice stop although the place would not rank very high in the states..“

“Stopped here while on our trip to Cabo. Nice to see some craft beer in a sea of pale lagers. We were there early so the place was dead. Got a sampler and then a few more pints afterwards. They were out of a few beers, but the ones we tried were pretty good. Overall a nice place with some good beer for Mexico.“

“Very good beer and excellent service from David. We tried the Peyote and the Oatmeal Stout. They have live music in the evening and plans to bottle their beers under Cabotella name. Located just two blocks away from the town main church and City Hall.“

“Stopped here on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. This 7 month old brewpub is located in the Centro district of San Jose del Cabo which is an old part of town in the art district. It is difficult to locate and the area is difficult to drive in however there is parking about a block away. I read the Draft Magazine article about how difficult it was to move big brewery containers into the building and after seeing the place I could only imagine the difficulty. The restaurant is very nice. Six adults in my party all ordered off the pub fare menu and were all quite pleased. Items were delicious and ample. Their offerings have more imagination and better presentation than most. There are two parts to the restaurant an indoor section with benches and bar seating. We ate on the outdoor patio with was pleasant with a nice breeze. Their logo is placed for a perfect photo opportunity, one which I was told the singer Pink and Broncos coach Mike Shanahan took advantage of. We did too. The restaurant manager, Dave, was kind enough to give us a tour of the brewery which is small and situated in a room that is about 40’ by 30’. Although not the brew master, Dave was well informed of the brewing process and the beers brewed there (8). He also spoke of plans in the works to ship, to distribute in Cabo san Lucas, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and greatly appreciated Dave offering his time and knowledge. The decor perfectly matched the area perfectly. For example, there is a life sized statue of San Jose inside. He happens to be the patron saint of brewers. Their beers were all unique and interesting each in their own way. I have rated the 8 beers on tap while we were there so won’t do again here but a few are well worth mentioning. Their Oatmeal Stout was quite good and Guinness-like. The Peyote Pale Ale was an IPA that was a mistake which, in my opinion, worked out quite well. Also, their Blonde Lager was delightfully sweet and one that could be a summertime staple if available. I am quite surprised to be the first to rate it and my guess is that they are still new and are slowly building awareness. Two things that they are doing very well are making very good and interesting beer and serving truly enjoyable food. Their focus seems to be on quality and that is something that will carry them a long way. This place is WELL worth a visit!“
