62 /100 Eli’s Beer Market (Bar) CALLE ISABEL LA CATÓLICA, PADRE CALLE BELLINI Nice place, good selection, good service but ridiculously overpriced. |
72 /100 Cultura Cervezera (Bar) CALLE RAFAEL AUGUSTO SÁNCHEZ 96B A very cool beer shop/bar, a must visit when in Santo Domingo. |
56 /100 Zona Bici Bike Rental (Bar) CALLE ARZOBISPO MERIÑO #217; ZONA COLONIAL Interesting place, great service but just a shame the place is way overpriced to the craft beers. Won't visit this place again, that's for sure. |
76 /100 Zona Bici Bike Rental (Bar) CALLE ARZOBISPO MERIÑO #217; ZONA COLONIAL Yes, it's a bike rental place. With the best local craft beer assortiment you can find in the Zona Colonial, including good prices (They say as it is not the main business they try to stay below other bar's prices). 2 taps with Republica beers and around 20 more bottles of various dominican craft beers. Also they do speak english (depending on the person ok to really good) and have good knowledge about the craft beer scene. Paying with card possible but if you need cash, there is an ATM directly next to it. |
70 /100 CALLE 4 C #11A, ESQ. Klare Empfehlung! |
78 /100 Cultura Cervezera (Bar) CALLE RAFAEL AUGUSTO SÁNCHEZ 96B Definitely the best place to get craft beer in Dominican Republic. They have Santo Domingo Brewing on tap, and in bombers, as well as Dyckman (another craft beer made by a Dominican in NY). Service is slightly better than most Dominican places, which is a touch better than terrible. Nice patio. This place will cost about 300 pesos in taxi to get to from el Conde, or the old Coloniale part of town. They also have quite a few Belgian classics and a few that I hadn’t seen or rated. Also some Germans, and a few classic American craft beers on tap and in bottles. All around the best place in Santo Domingo I went to, and a must visit if you are in town. Internet here didn’t really work for me, though they told me they had it. Also, you can buy bottles to take home here, and they are priced differently this way. |
70 /100 Eli’s Beer Market (Bar) CALLE ISABEL LA CATÓLICA, PADRE CALLE BELLINI Unexpected find in Dominican Republic. This place has tons of Belgian beer. Most of the Trappists and other classic stuff, and even a few lambics like Lindemans and stuff. Some stuff I hadn’t rated before as well. The service is fairly terrible, as most places in DR. It was super busy when I was here at night on a Saturday, with a DJ with loud annoying music. Prices are expensive for DR and anywhere,(a Rochefort 10 set me back 640 pesos, or $14 at time of writing). Great open patio, and would be good if it was quieter. Beautiful location. |
38 /100 Importacion Duvel y mas (Beer Store) ACROPOLIS CENTER , AV. W. CHURCHILL A Belgian beer shop but with a regular ordinary selection |
