“Airport bar which serves mostly macros.“

“We made a stop on our way to airport. 2h single ticket by train allows you easily to make a stop here. Walk from train station is around 10 minutes. Big place with large beer garden as well. Selection of taps available. Card accepted and english spoken a bit. We had couple of rounds and food. Currywurst was ok, but nothing special.“

“Have often passed by early mornings. First time I stopped for a beer was on 6.7.2021. Finally Vienna airport has a beer bar with 5 decent beers. Highlight is the session IPA from Brauwerk. Liked the long bar (for Austrian circumstances) with a view to the airfield. Nothing special, but at least now you can have an IPA on this airport.“

“Airport bar with sandwiches, 5 beers on tap (at the time of my visit: budvar, ottakringer wiener original and dunkles zwickl, paulaner weissbier and jausmarke session ipa) and a few botzles, as well - worth visiting while waiting for connecting flight“

“Right beside the F11 gate this place is now doing business as Bierbar-Oida!. It's a reasonably long bar with an okay selection of local craft beers. Prices are moderately high but hey, it's an airport bar. Pretzels and some sandwiches are available for food. At least it has a place to sit unlike the pop-up shop at the end of the concourse. An okay place to attempt to get some local craft beers without running into central Vienna.“

“On the go place with a few brews... works if u are in a hurry. There is one place that have better selection and food need to investigate more the next time I have more time;)“

“Well, it is an okay place to go, if you are in wienna airport, and have some time to spent before next flight. Found some austrian microbrews, one of them a sessional IPA. Still expencive and crowded, typical airport restaurant.“

“Added becuase I found no beer places in the Vienna airport on the site. Only place I saw the Ottakringer Gold Special - where it’s served as Wiener Gold in Wiener Gold glass. Ok venue at 7 AM. :)“

“This brewery restaurant is attached to the Schwechater brewery. Unfortunately it belongs nowadays to the Heineken group, nevertheless it is a historic place and a must for beer enthusiasts. Anton Dreher the previous owner has invented here the Lagerbier in 1840, which was closely related to the invention of the cooling machine. This restaurant has a beautiful beer garden, also inside it is quite nicely decorated with pictures from the good old days. Food is quite good, my favorite is the Fiakergulasch. Unfortunately the regular beers are very flat and mainstream. Zwickel is drinkable. Very rarely they have some special brews which can be very good. Some years ago I had one of the best bock beers in my life. Just a shame the special beers are very rarely on tap. If you are in the area stop by - it is a historic place which should not be missed.“
