“We visited here Thursday 15th August 2019. We were stopping at Camping Walchsee and had cycled to here, in fact it was a beautiful cycle ride, quite hilly but offering superb views. Gasthof Mairwirt is easy to find as its on the 171 road that passes straight through the village. It's between two very small roads called Moarweg and Leindl and for those using public transport there is a bus stop just outside. Mairwirt is a good sized place, white in colour with red shutters, it appears to me to be typically Tyrolean in appearance. There is a small outside terrace at the front and as it was a nice day, we sat here, *ok admittedly it rained a little much later on. It was quiet with just one other couple here and another person(s) who left not long after we arrived. I suspect that a busier times that it's probably popular with cyclists and motorcyclists. Inside there was just the owner and a local, though the owner was attending to us and the couple near us with food and beer, btw the food looked good and with very generous portions. We ordered beers, but not from the menu card however it wasn't untill I received this that I noted that the Dunkel wasn't brewed on site, so I asked the owner after I'd finished this for one of their own beers and got the Moa Bier a Zwickel, It was pretty decent. The brewing equipment is very small and can be seen if you enter via this front outside terrace, it's on the left by the window and is all shiny copper. It's very traditional inside, the toilets in particular had a 1970's feel with the tiling and appearance, but it was very clean, tidy and a really nice place. I would definitely return if close by.“
