“Nice, old building in the town center. Free parking near the shop. Great atmosphere inside, also old style. Mostly Dutch and Belgium beers, but also some other international stuff. Local / regional beers and some harder to find Dutch stuff. Quite a few matured beers. Great beer cellar with the most (matured) Geuze, Lambic and Kriek beer I have ever seen in a Dutch shop, including Cantillon (also some harder to find ones), 3 Fonteinen, De Cam and such. Also some other stuff. Friendly staff, fair prices. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Nice cosy store in a very small town. Across the street is a large parking place. Finding a spot was very easy. ;-) The selection is pretty decent. Focus on Belgian beers but you can also find interesting stuff from other countries. Noticed beer from Mad river, Pohjala, In Peccatum, some older vintages Old Stock ale. Quite some Struise. Among others. I got a few Moersleutels.“

“Visited today. Finding a parkingspot was a bit hard. When you enter the shop you’re met by a great ambiance. A lovely decorated store. When you enter you don’t expect there to be much beer, but that’s because you can’t immediately see the backroom where all the beer is stored. Great selection and more than decent prices. Loads of Dutch, Belgian and European stuff. Some American brews too. Nice selection of sours that’s worth mentioning too. Friendly staff. We didn’t chat much or anything but they looked like nice and down to earth people. We also received to free glasses and my username probably gave it away: I can appreciate that. Absolutely a great shop and I will visit again. If I had a (liquor/beer)shop I would love it to look like this one. This shop combined with a trip to Uw Bierspecialist in Veghel is worth traveling for imo.“

“One of the hidden gems in Brabant. Wide portfolio, including many lambics. Decent prices. Parking close by. Not very friendly service, but who cares if you can find good beers. Worth a visit.“

De website is namelijk niet helemaal up to date. “

“I decided to visit after reading the reviews here and looking at their website. At first it seems a bit difficult to find or my GPS decided to take me on a around-the-town-trip. Once there, nothing seems really special, as the place looks like a normal house with just a couple of bottles on the windows. Parking is just so easy though, plenty od spaces around and you can even park in front of the shop. Once inside, I was lead to the beer corner. Lots of belgian and dutch beers, a bit mainstream but there were also quite a few bottles I didn’t have before. On the opposite side, shelves with their big bottles assortment, and also lambics etc. In the middle of the room a couple of baskets with beers past their BBD for a bargain price. Also some bif bottles of Italian beers half price off for the same reason, although some of them were techically still within their BBD ( 3/2014, it was still March so not "expired" yet), I got some of those. A lady came to check on me and see if I needed any help, left me go on after I said that I am just browsing and showed I already had some beers in my basket. After a while I decided to ask for help because I had a list with me with beers I was looking for and I couldn’t find them. Another lady went happily around looking for them and asking if they are still available, then she led me to the cellar to look together. Highlight of my visit, really impressive. Lots and lots of bottles left to mature, wine and beer alike, even more impressive a big room with a long table in it and bottles lying around. This is what comes in mind when I read Ratebeer Gathering Grand Tasting :) She showed me around a bit, I picked up one of the bottles I was looking for and we headed upstairs. I got to choose a couple of free glasses too as a gift, then she helped me load everything in the car. Great service. Prices are quite okay, and don’t forget you can find some great offers, like bottles on half price or just for one euro. The belgian stuff epscially I found them to be quite cheap. All in all that was a great shopping experience, I will make sure to revisit if around the area.“

“Hidden in the small village of Sint Oedenrode there can’t have been many beerlovers who have found this place. I hadn’t been there once until now even though my girlfriend works less than a kilometer away from this store and it is only about 20 minutes driving from my place. Quite easy to find, just outside the most crowded area of the village centre, a parking area just 20 meters from the front door. Inside there’s more room than you’d expect looking at it from the outside. Besides beers the store has a lot of wines and liquors. Prices are very reasonable and sometimes even cheap. Service is outstanding. The owner has time to talk with you, tell you stuff about the beers and if it’s not too crowded in the store show you the store’s cellar with a lot of (aged) beers in it. You might wont to check that out and search for some hidden gems there. Certainly worth a visit when in the area.“

“This shop is truly a little gem which deserves more attention. Hidden inside a building that looks like a normal house, this shop sells an amazing collection of beers, liquors and Whiskeys (for the latter they even have a special entrance, some very rare whiskeys are sold). The collection of beers is pretty good and exetensive, though there are places in The Netherlands where one can find larger collections. Lambic beers and some rare gueuzes can be found here. Personnel is helpful and friendly and you better pay attention to the cellars, which contain impressive collections of maturing beers and rarities, some of which are for sale. Worth a visit and I will come back here!“

“Thanks to the guy who added this because I managed to get some local beer from this shop and it was fun to drive to my destination through this village and not via the highway. anyway the shop is small and packed with liquor. Apparently i missed the cellars so i have to go back.“

“Somebody here added this place to Ratebeer, he/she did a good job, otherwise I doubt if I would ever had found this hidden gem. Located on the border of the center of Sint-Oedenrode, this looks like a small and normal liquor store from the outside, since it’s located in an old and normal look a like house, don’t let this fool you! Inside you will find a grand selection of wines, and in the back a good selection of beers and beer glasses. Small bottles together on one part of the store and the bigger bottles across, on other shelves. Easy to look through and this way they created a nice beer corner. They got some Cantillon, 3 Fonteinen en Oud Beersel, but also some oak aged La Trape stuff, a couple of bottles of Straffe Hendrik Heritage and other one offs. Lot of Belgian and Dutch beer. There’s enough to choose from and even a ticker which had all the beers they sell, can’t deny they have a good selection! They got a cupboard with beers 50% off and got some beers specially brewed for this store and only available here. I haven’t seen it, but next door they have a full store of single malt whiskeys. All run by the family Boxmeer, as this store is in the family for ages. Knowledgeable staff, friendly, helpfull and absolutely in for a chat. The best thing is when you enter their cellars, beautiful full of beers (which they sell in the store as well) and medieval looking with one of the cellar rooms having a 20mtr table surrounded by beers, wines, port, etc. All by all a truely hidden gem and a must visit when in the neighboorhood. Even if you don’t buy anything, their cellars are amazing.“
