52 /100 Woolpack (Bar) SLAD ROAD Fantastic picturesque village location in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds near Stroud. About 4 different Uley Ales on tap when we were there (all pales/goldens though). No food either that night as the chef was off. |
66 /100 Woolpack (Bar) SLAD ROAD Delightful old pub in glorious location. Four separate small rooms with historic fittings. Mainly local ales, plus reportedly good food. |
86 /100 Woolpack (Bar) SLAD ROAD Why can’t this be my local? This is a fantastic spot, gorgeous location and a great atmosphere. Thanks to David who brought me here with high expectations, they were exceeded. Slate of the local Uley Ales which were great, plus a few more guest handles and a cider and lager or two. Food is proper, above average menu and the food is way better than it has to be. Small and attentive pub, can’t beat the ambiance and history, beer and food is over the top. Can’t wait to come back and I recommend going a little out of your way for The Woolpack. |
