“Visited 31/5/2024. It‘s the most famous brewpub restaurant in Speyer, it’s a very cozy but huge place. Many beers on tap, Pilsner, Hell, Dunkel, Weizen and a seasonal (Maibock in my case). Great tasty Palatinian food (Des Pfälzers Leibgericht, Saumagen, Leberknödel Bratwurst, Sauerkraut, bread). Super friendly and prompt professional service. Bit pricy for Speyer. I was very satisfied!“

“Brewpub with nice ambience, good service (english speaker), about 4 beers on tap. Food was good but overpriced.“

“Hausbrauerei direkt neben dem Dom zu Speyer. Nach Corona gab es bei mir 4 Biere vom Fass. Anständiges Essen.“

“Visited beginning of December. Sat down across the bar. Good atmosphere. Tried the seasonal offer, the Nicolausbock. They do sell their beers to go in 500ml souvenir bottles for 5€. Unfortunately no deposit, so you pay a lot for beers that a most likely much better on tap and you are stuck with a bottle.“

“Visited at least a dozen times. The biergarten is a real one, very nice; but also the interior seems nice. The service is inpersonal, too many waiters/waitresses. The beers are un-exciting, but still the best ones in a short radius from my office in Walldorf. At least we were lucky to be there on Tuesday and we had spare ribs (good ones), a little extra compared to the usual bratwurst.“

“Diner with German friend.Typical German restaurant and pretty crowded, with regular dishes on the menu. Had 2 of their beers and took a third one home. Service bit slow.“

“(Visited in 11/2011): Domhof is located on the southwest side of Speyer on Grosse Himmelsgasse. The inside houses several rooms, with a small bar in the back. Large collection of breweriana throughout the space. The brewing equipment is visible behind windows, and there are hanging hops garlands around, plus some tapped barrels. The place has a lot of wood, stained glass,a brick floor and a lived-in feel. Domhof has 4 of their beers on tap, including a Helles, Dunkel and Hefe. There are a few bottles available as well. Service on my visit was good, the bartender was very friendly and the language barrier was no issue, par for the course on the trip. We did not try any food on the visit. Overall this is a nice spot to visit in Speyer.“

“Had lunch here with family and friends. Nice quaint little place...service was great, food was good and not to bad priced. Beers were outstanding, had the Weizen and Dunkel with lunch, then took a 2L growler of the Helles home.“
