“19/02/2023 - Still only 2 cask's (which is actually good for Jersey these days) of the now 4 on this Sunday lunchtime visit, they were Wadworth Dirty Rucker & Liberation Sin Bin. Food was still of a very good standard, recommend the roasts. Service was still very good. 14/08/2019 - This is a newly re opened pub & restaurant after a big revamp. I had heard good things about the food & seen on facebook they had a handful of different cask beers not seen else where on the island. Unfortunately they only had 2 of the 6 casks operating the Wednesday evening, which where Bass & Doom Bar. (was told they were putting changing the empty ones for the weekend) They have a number of tapped beers from the islands Liberation. I had there Pale Ale, then later tried for the 1st time Butcombe Blackbeard Stout from Liberations sister brewery in Somerset. The food was excellent, mostly meat based. Highly recommend the beef espeteda. The service was friendly and efficient. Just a pity I was 24 hours early for a full cask selection as my score is some way short of what it could be. Another visit required!“
