“In its own large brick building on the right if you’re heading into Urmston from the Manchester side. It has car parking space around it and an outdoor area too. The parking space is needed as the restaurant section of the main bar, which spans the front part of the building is popular, but if this area is full you can also enjoy food on the regular tables closer to the service area as this is just as convivial a place to eat. It’s a lovely decorated pub mostly with framed photographs of local and international people of notoriety on the walls, but the place looks well kept with good lighting and quality furniture. If you want to drink with the locals, you’ll probably find them in the smaller bar side which is to the rear and side of the building, but equally as well kept as the main part. Here is the place to go if you want to watch live sport with your pint. There’s as full as it gets selection from a JW Lees pub with several hand pumps that always include the current seasonal special, both its lagers as well as Khukuri in bottles.“
